Some of the things apply to Sweden too...

I might not know everything but few things that I would like to mention. -Never heard of anything about having bad luck with even number of quests. -Saturdays have often been the day that parents would allow kids to eat sweets and there is a candy bag called "Lauantai pussi" or "Saturday bag", but that is more to limit the sweets kids eat and as soon as they get to teen age you don't have that kind of control to limit it any more. - Never heard of the troll tree thing ether. - Christmas one is not that we don't wait for Christmas it just is that we celebrate and do everything on 24th and 25th is then meant to just relax and not to do anything. At most some people make quick visits to other relatives that they didn't spend Christmas with. - There is no plural version of "Moi". Often 1 "Moi" is said when you meet someone and you often say it twice when you are saying Bye. - I have heard of mentions of sleepy head day, but never have I heard anyone paying it any mind or waking someone with water on that day.

@@LifeyAppExperience or fact as a finnish person?

* Never heard that even number of guests at bday party would be bad luck. Although we rarely even have bday parties. * Lauantai karkki? We call it a candy day. "Karkkipäivä". Many times it's a Saturday. * "kivennapa" is not a finnish word. Just a place. And no, we do not throw stones. * The 13. of October is known as a failure day somewhere, but it is not known or celebrated in Finland. * Never heard of the troll tree or dancing around it. * Instead of hello we say hei. Never hear anyone saying Moi moi. * We have a National Sleepy Head Day. But that does not include a bucket of water. Instead sometimes we throw a official "Unikeko" to the water.

I'm finnish and haven't heard many of these... maybe some of those are only for some special small group of finnish that do those? Not mainstream at all. In addition of things that juhokaartoaho said I could add these for example: kivennapa ?, tar on sauna stones (it will ruin them, maybe little of tar scented oil is put in the water that is thrown to the stones), day of failure ?, troll tree ?, rent a finn ? Never heard of these..

You pay pant when you buy bottle of cola, 1,5l bottles have 0,40€ baked to price. When you return bottle, you get that 0,40€ back. If you return bottles that you did not bought, you need to inform tax office/department because you got income. Own bottles, you get your own money back (not income). Bottles that are from someone else, you get income from other people.

who would inform tax office for some cans and bottles? go do that :D would have to make thousands from them then :D
