Uhm akqueshuhshlee, we can see that when Bowser jumped into it, it stayed looking like Bowser, making this a BOWSER capture, not a Mario capture. This clearly means the list only includes Mario captures and not captures by anyone else. 🤓🤓🤓🐿️🤓

One of my absolute favorite parts of the Bowser and Pokio is their ability to stall mid-air by shaking the controller. I'm surprised you didn't go into it, but that little bit of mid-air movement is really key to these captures feeling good, at least in my opinion. It feels so fluid to use the Pokio because of this stall, in my opinion.

Why did odyssey central choose the bowser statue as the 48th moon? Let’s take a deeper dive. While odyssey ranked the captures he came across the bowser statue, and put it at 48, and uses a video to explain why. The video displays cool bowser dancing to electrodrome, a popular song from mario kart 8. This brings me to believe that there are only two options why he chose the bowser statue at 48, either he was comparing the bowser statue to cool bowser or he was describing it as cool by showing a cool bowser as a symbol of the bowser statues coolness. I lean towards odyssey thinking the bowser statue is cool and I think he used cool bowser on a more symbolic level. In order to understand why we need to take a deeper dive. In order to understand why I believe he finds the bowser statue cool rather than it being a reminder of cool bowser, we need to look at the cool bowser video. In the video, we see a kid playing with a bowser plush, referring to it as “cool bowser” and then proceeding to make cool bowser dance. This is significant since it shows how lacking cool bowser truly is. It is a great video, but I doubt odyssey finds it great to the point he wants to put a bowser related object in front of a rock and a taxi, two of the previous captures which odyssey ranked lower. Odyssey must have thought the bowser statue is cool, since thats what the bowser statue stands for. Since he thought it was cool, he used a video of cool bowser to symbolize how cool the bowser statue is. For all the reasons listed above, I must conclude that odyssey chose to put the bowser statue at 48 because he thought it was cool, not because it was cool bowser related.

great list! disagree on a few points (i dont really like the pokio that much, i find it too hard to control) but love the way you present this. my favorite capture is probably the trex, just bc getting to run thru blocks without a care in the world is absolutely incredible. gushen and uproot have great movement and great puzzles but at the end of the day i just wanna be a big dino and destroy everything. plus dino skip is fun as hell

As an parabones fan it makes me SO sad it is used such an little amount in the final game and seeing team paragoomba be able to roam freely around cap and take a point for the team I was looking everywhere after finishing the dark side hoping I could use parabones somewhere like darker but at least I found the bowser's kingdom parabones moon and finally I was somewhat pleased
