My brother studied languages at the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center in California. The pace of study was intense. Students had to master the language course in 36-64 weeks. Psychologically it was very difficult, but fortunately he was helped by Yuriy Ivantsiv's book "Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign languages”. The "rs" thing is in many dialects, in the mid to northern parts of the country, but pronounced slightly differently. But in my own southern dialect we "ur-säkta" pronounced "r" and "s" separately.

Fun fact: In Spain we have an expression: To become Swedish. for example if they ask you something about what you have information but you don't want to give it and you say "i don't know" and the other person knows that you are lying, they will tell you "don't play Swedish" Know undestand why "Jag vet inte" We use too when one person are or pretend be confused and the other one think that the other is lying: Don't be/play Swedish haha Tack for teaching Swedish in such an easy way, I hope to visit your wonderful country soon.

Well.. you can thing of Å as an A with a small O on the top. If you go with the "neutral" latin sound... you could say OA (in the long form). Or, since you are just starting, you could try with our 100% beginners video course: elansutbildning.teachable.com/p/swedish-for-complete-beginners
