Bobby popping up an all these podcast has become a Healthy coping mechanism in dealing with my own current breakup. It's not a distraction, it's just happy emotions, non stop laughs with someone in the same realm of sense of humor.. Life. Trauma, self deprecation, and just pure unfiltered honesty. I feel seen, and understood in some wierd way. Plus all the good endorphins. Thank you our Handsome Bobo!! Seriously thank you.

@ardo1932 жыл бұрын
There were some really hilarious and tender moments in this pod. I thought for a bit that Bobby wanted to break through to Dumbfoundead, to help him move past this “party phase”. But Bobby seemed to grow antagonistic, he didn’t seem to want to help but rather to tell Dumb that Bobby knows better, and that Bobby has done more to evolve himself as a human (“I’ve paid thousands of dollars for therapies”) where it becomes more of a flex than a compassionate connection. He didn’t want to hear Dumb’s struggle, with Bobby even cutting him off as Dumb tried to explain a bit. No condemnation from me, it’s just so peculiar how our emotions can get mixed up and contorted. As others have mentioned, I do believe that Bobby is acting as heung to Dumb, but those fraternal/paternal patterns of behavior can be toxic in their own ways. Love these 2 together.
@risanizzle2 жыл бұрын
This is an interesting perspective as I thought the opposite. Instead of Bobby saying he’s spent thousands on therapies being a flex I take it as he’s spent and invested numerous trials of self help and the fact that he is still going through it, just shows how much of a journey it is when it comes to healing and dealing with traumas. I think he deserves credit when he has put in the work, he seems like he truly wants Dumb to start that journey before it’s too late even if his words/advice can be hard to swallow sometimes 😂 and I don’t think your perspective is wrong, I just wanted to share what my take was This episode was such a breath of fresh air as I think mental health needs to be talked about and normalized, especially amongst men. I have so much more respect for Bobby and it’s great to see Dumb just taking it all in because it’s definitely not easy when your vulnerabilities are presented to your face like that 🫶🏻

I'm a career shifter possibly from a middle age crisis or just hating feeling stuck in life. I just started on my 30s and knowing there are more talented and younger professionals, but I'm just crazy enough to think that I know I can do that. I also saw people do that leap of faith. With effort, connections, etc, and some stroke of luck, I made it and its been one of the best decisions I made. Which help me personally financially and help me get that fighting chance in life😉 Just take chances, explore, fail, try again, and make things happen
