It's already been said a million times, but gosh this game has depth. I remember a 'dream-like' state when I first roamed and randomly came across that notorious 'pig farm' couple. I was curious and even followed the 'wife' upstairs as she was getting changed (I feel like a creep saying that!), but then as that whole scene unfolded I just felt utterly entranced by the whole production behind it all. The resources Rockstar had thrown into scenes like that one, the characters, the reveal about their relationship and their parents and of course the linkage to the scene shown in this video (!), wow, what an amazing illustration of the depth of RDR2.

9:45 a small detail In the middle of another detail is if you look closely Arthur uses his hand gestures to communicate with the slaves Telling them to take the money and follow him since they don’t speak English. That’s pretty cool most games would forget that part and just have the character speak English anyways expecting the npc to understand.

I’ll admit I’ve finished this game 100% a few times. I can’t count how many times I’ve done a play through. (This is the only game I play. I have a problem. 😂). I’ve done a play through every way I can think possible. I find new things every single time. No exaggeration. I didn’t think this video would show me anything new, but I was wrong. Never knew about the lightning or shooting the people first. I’ve also never got the jacket. Great video.

Two of my favourite moments, and there are a lot, are Arthur's face when the couple at Aberdeen pig farm reveal they have incestuous relations, and when you put on the trapper's hat after knocking it off in a fist fight with him at the saloon in Valentine. When you start playing poker after that event the trapper just stands behind Arthur in a menacing fashion. While playing Arthur is constantly looking over his shoulder at the menacing trapper. It's hilarious.

@ahastar11412 жыл бұрын
I think if they did an RDR3 it would be with Jack Marston. He was an innocent kid but turned outlaw down the path of his father, by killing his father's killer. Thus making Johns's sacrifice in the first game meaningless. That could be an interesting story and would provide some redemption as Jack looks for stability, avoids the law, and meaning to a life he claims no longer has anything to live for.

I love Red Dead so much to a point where I like it more than GTA. GTA is like a mirror up to society, but Red Dead given its in the same universe. Is rather more serious and has a lot more charm. Shown by the characters and the story. I love Arthur Morgan and John Marston. In my opinion they’re probably the best characters Rockstar has ever created. I don’t think it would’ve worked as well if the characters weren’t so loveable. Also I just wanted to say that I love your editing dude. So crisp, and just a pleasure to look at.
