Join me as I metal detect Bolsa Chica State Beach, I try the low tide but only found fishing weights and then found clad targets in the dry sand. I treasure hunt for gold and silver using a Minelab Equinox 800.

The seagulls were talking in the background as you were just getting started and I realized that I don’t think we have seagulls in Okinawa! We have sand pipers , egrets and osprey.. love the sunset. Nice hunt!

I was just south of that area yesterday running the pups, Dog Beach. Lots of folks!!!!. With 90 plus degrees this week in the OC all the beaches are getting maxed out. You mentioned Hypo' needles, can you do me a fav and give us a number to look out for when hunting with the Nox?

I hit the fire pits with the Nox on Friday, it was hot and frustrating trying to cherry pick though the trash. Hopefully with all the people on the beach they left some good deposits for us.

Just curious...Care to share any stats kept? Ave. weights found/beach and value sold for? $s/hour on finds with and without gold? Other?

Hmmm, that is not a bad idea! I never really have kept count, I know that I have never sold any gold found and for 30 years I just place in safety deposit boxes with the occasional upgrade in size or additional box. Thank you for the Idea!
