He probably smiles a lot less than we realize since all three of the siblings are not just members of fatui but one of them is hinted to wear a helmet not simply because he likes diving but because it blocks out the noise of people. Unfortunately, that "noise" is not just crowds he has to walk around. So yeah I am sure that the twins especially would have been forced to encounter many things they would hate to see since it appears they are treated as higher value.

Its just movement code, not pre-rendered videos... They even used to manually animate a lot of stuff in mondstadt archon quest. The only reason they don't anymore is they are a smol indie company.

They should take your example on how to do interactions between characters during dialoge. The more their body language and expressions are free the more enjoyable the story will be. During the char/main stories obv asking for the world missions too is too much these can have their typical obvious gestures. I've been pointing out body language for since the first patches XD.

Consider the amount of time to animate each scene, each character. With such complexity, yes they can, but it'll take them so long to even finish 1 act. Also the game size would bloat.... Good idea, but not feasible.

That won't be a good idea ingame. They can only do this is the game is not open world, even so, they'll still have a hard time with the storage issues, considering that even honkai starrail is not even an open world and is still getting the same kind of treatment, though it's the animations there are more polish than genshin's. I guess they can only do this if they can make a game that only focuses on the story with some this and that? Though I would rather just watch an anime or a movie if that's the case.

@@jeremyg2236 or maybe just do pre-rendered mp4 file and use smart delete future. After quest ends, delete the video. There is no re-do feature in quests anyway. They started to using pre-rendered videos in some cutscenes in archon quest.

And it'll be inconsistent as f since every cutscenes u enter is a video, u can't take your time to read the dialogues since the "click and next line" would go out, traveler word choice would also be gone, his element color would not match every dialogue scene and it won't feel interactive or "in-game" anymore. And importantly, animating every dialogue would make genshin a game that prolly update every 4-6 months for a new patch and first time/new account players would have a hell lot of storage space since they have the full archon quest files incoming
