I'd say that most people would respond negatively if you were to act high and mighty in public. The only reason, atleast for me, I didn't like her was because of the fact that she would make herself sound so high above everyone else while seemingly almost push everyone else down. However, I'm pleasantly surprised that I can say now she's become a character I actually like, hoyoverse has given us yet another wonderful character that actually feels like a real person, and her voice actor Amber is AMAZING at the line delivery. I'm honestly excited for what we see in Natlan, and I hope for the same feeling I got from Furina to be with other characters.

Focalors split off all her 'human' traits into Furina, then hid inside the Oratrice for centuries to gather power to give back the Hydro Sovereign Authority to Neuvillette. Focalors intends to destroy the role of 'Hydro Archon' and give the rule of Fontaine back to the Hydro Sovereign, so that he may stabilize the Fontainian's human forms and prevent them from dissolving back into Oceanids when exposed to Primordial Seawater. Furina's role is to pretend to be Focalors, so that Focalor's plan can go off without a hitch. At the end, Focalors and the throne of the Hydro Archon disappear, leaving only the human Furina.

fontaine not having a full blown music event involving all the music related characters is a crime... also come to think of it... only inazuma doesnt have someone who is a stage performer... in mondstad there is a bard and an idol. in liyue a opera singer and a rock musician. in sumeru we have a theater dancer. in fontaine we have a magician duo and a musical actress. where is the kabuki theater people inazuma? WHERE IS IT? EDIT:the idol thingy was Alice idea, klee's mom tried so hard she even tried to kidnap yoimiya and convince ayaka to be part of it, she ended up settling down into nudging barbara towards that.

i have theory i just thought of right now based on the voicelines: in act 5 maybe furina quite literally stops being an archon and gives back her powers or something to neuvilette making him the "archon" and furina would turn into a mortal or some regions long life beast things (like liyue's adepti)

Not "Archon" since that's a title bestowed to Celestia's 'puppets' and no way in hell would Neuvillette allow himself to be the puppet of who he despise the most. He's likely gonna be the de facto leader of fontaine as the dragon sovereign of water.

He’s not an archon he’s just the leader of Fontaine now as it should’ve been in the first place. Archons are just Celestia’s way of not letting the dragon sovereigns have their powers. Thus the reason Neuvi doesn’t need the gnosis to use his powers but archons did need it.
