Aside from being an actor, Paul Walker was also a marine biologist who filmed a few specials on Discovery Channel for Shark Week and National Geographic. He was as passionate and knowledgeable about sharks as he was with cars. He truly was a one of a kind person. I wish there were more people like him.

I remember bawling my eyes out when I first found out Paul died. I had become an F&F fan 2 years prior to it and was so excited for the 7th. I was crying with my cousin, who was one of the 2 people who introduced me to the franchise. The other being my mom. And when the movie came out, I went to see it in theaters with my mom and started crying so much the moment they showed him pull up next to Vin at the end. His bright blue eyes and the smile just made me break down. Favorite franchise of all time for sure.

28:42 now Brian sees why Jack thinks cars can fly. He’s been listening to his uncle Dom. 36:48 you guys should check out the “Expendables” series that Sylvester Stallone put together. All the old action stars. 39:39 the missile weakened the structure and Dom stomping just weakened it more. Figure if Shaw would’ve taken a step it probably would’ve caved in as well. 41:21 and the older you get the longer it takes to “heal”. 43:10 this was such a great ending for Brian. They added this scene after he died as a tribute. 43:59 that’s Paul’s brother with Paul’s face added from one of the earlier movies. There’s a show that looks at the evidence of his accident and what more than likely happened. His mom said he was talking about stepping back from making movies to be with his daughter more. Two movies to check out with Paul Walker is “Hours” (have tissues nearby) & “Brick Mansions”. 49:18 his two brothers helped compete the movie.

Paul not only played Brian such a crucial character to the story, he also started ROWW (Reach Out Worldwide). A non-profit organization that he funded. He got Doctors, nurses, construction workers etc and responded to natural disasters all around the world. The first being the earthquake in Port-A-Prince Haiti and 2011 cat 5 typhoon that I volunteered with ROWW that hit Luzon Philippines. He himself was boots on the ground at every disaster and didn't want any cameras on him. He just wanted to put Goodwill out there. Now Cody Walker is in charge of ROWW. They have reached out to multiple countries and states here in the US.

Jason Statham being the freaking Terminator, The Rock giving him a Rock Bottom, Roman coming up with and then carrying out his Wiley Coyote ass plan while screaming all the way down, and Rocky literally flexing out of his cast. It wasn’t a “first half” with Paul and the other parts being his brothers. The whole movie alternated between Paul, his brothers, John Singleton (aka “Sheppard”) at one point, a stuntman, and a Paul Walker hologram featuring Paul’s face from old “Furious” films at times too. The most you get to see Paul through this movie without anybody else playing Brian is the start of the team meeting all the way through the bus hanging off the cliff and Paul’s on his way off the bus before the stuntman shows up….

After Furious 6 torn up Memorial Day weekend 2013 and broke mad records, F7 was announced for release in summer 2014. Justin Lin not returning was a surprise since he had the vision of the 4 installments of the series. I was excited about James Wan as director, plot details, new additions to the cast and then some. Paul Walker had starred in 4 films in 2013 including Furious 6. On Thanksgiving weekend of the same year, the cast and crew were taking holiday break from filming F7. At the time, he just turned 40 and even had a b-day party on set. His untimely passing did strike pretty hard. Although he finished completing of "Brick Mansions" (remake of a foreign film called B13) was due in 2014, calling on the help of his brothers, Caleb & Cody to finish Paul's scenes as doubles for F7 (true swan song) was much appreciated. Opening day 2015, i saw this in IMAX as well. Everything at all levels and as much as expected. Team Furious aka The Fast Family took on all threats at an awesome pace. We were all mourning as fans and the love was so well felt. The cultural impact of this franchise grew stronger. Furious 7 grossed over $1 billion worldwide and The Fast Saga became Universal Pictures' biggest franchise ever.

The most iconic thing and respectful thing was in the end, when the white supra takes a different path with "paul" inside, the sound you hear with the gears and car driving, is the original sound clip from the first fast and the furious with the orange supra. My father passed away on March 25th, 2015, and this movie came out on April 3rd, 2015. I remember seeing it with my two friends in the theater. I cried my eyes out when the song started playing and the montage happened. My dad was a huge car guy and worked for GM his whole life. This movie will always hold a special place in my heart.

I just want to mention that Dom lifting the car in the penthouse vault ISNT so ridiculous. That's a "super car" which means its insanely light for a car, plus super car engines are in the BACK of the car. It only takes 2 people to lift the rear end of a standard sedan. So with Dom being really strong, as we know, lifting the front end of a super car would be tough but not improbable for him.

The scenes of them on the beach were filmed after Paul died with stand-ins and Paul's brothers, so their feelings in that scene were very real, you can even see tears in Michelle Rodriguez's character's eyes. Vin actually named his daughter Pauline after Paul, and Paul's daughter Meadow has a cameo in one of the later films and Vin walked her down the aisle when she got married. This is very much a family.

But I want to touch on something you guys mentioned about how they come up with all those wild stunts and action scenes. Here's a fun fact most people don't realize: a lot of those ideas actually come from the fans! Yup, fans drop cool suggestions in their DMs or comments on social media, and the filmmakers take note. Some of the stunts that seem over-the-top? They’re fan-inspired. So when you see those crazy, out-of-this-world moments, just know-it's the fans shaping the action!

When i watched that movie in the theater it was 90% male audience. Throughout the movie you could hear the usual laughter and "yeah"-es from a typical fan guy audience. But when it came to the closing shot with the Charger and the Supra the entire hall got dead quiet. And when the white supra took the exit you could hear basically everyone in there sniffle. When the titlecard "FOR PAUL", everyone simultaneously stood up and started applauding. Pretty much every guy in there had tears in his eyes, me and my friends included. Despite not knowing Paul Walker in person, we all felt like we've lost a really good friend we knew for years.

I remember watching this in theatres and no joke EVERYONE cried. When walking out of the theatre you could see everyone’s eyes red. A lot of people showed up with their cars (modified) including my friends, and I..and we all were waiting at the light together and did a run down the Blvd. It was an awesome moment us all racing to the next light. After that we all kept driving together slowly separating our own ways. This movie, and ending is always heartbreaking. REST IN PEACE PAUL 🙌🏻
