I don't care what business you are in, mistakes will happen. However customer service and how you deal with that mistake is key. Handled it perfectly. Also good on you for showing it. That's a real behind the scenes of how a business is run

Debated whether we should, but it’d be disingenuous for us not to show that we also make mistakes. Appreciate the comment g!

I once has a trusted jeweler make for me a solid 24k gold bangle that weighed 307 grams. The person responsible for putting the fineness stamp on it stamped it 24k TWICE, with each stamp about a centimeter apart from each other. I wasn’t very happy and asked the jeweler ‘Why?’ ‘I need to know why your guy stamped it 24k twice right next to each other. She couldn’t explain and I just let the issue go. Eventually I thought the whole thing was funny and came to actually like having the bangle ‘double stamped’, almost as if it was reinforcing the fact that it was 24k But in this video the stamp 950 generally refers to platinum, as jewelry made from platinum is commonly 95% pure. An error in stamping ‘takes away’ from the ‘premium feel’ you get when buying from a high end jeweler. Obviously it’s a Quality Control issue and should have never left the factory

@dmob420 not from my experience. Wrong invoice. Under weight. Boxlock is not leveled on one side. And he's I'm to picky and to deal with it. Just saying. At 28% ( that's around 2,800.00 just to have it made. Not counting the gold cost ) premium, I would expect it to be level on both side. His links are nice. But cuban links are kinda all the same to me.
@dmob420Күн бұрын
@@MehhhBushka Agreee. His markup prices are not worth it. There are plenty of people who make cuban chains, maybe not a good as gus but it will do the job and everybody will like it. Most people will not ever care about the small details.

@dmob420 solder job. Not leveled. Angled up. Like having an uneven deck. It stands out big time. It like walking around with an errection in sweatpants...

@dmob420 small details. When you a pay 2,800 for something to be made. You expect it to be correct. If it cost me 500 to have him make it. Would not care. Kinda see my point ?

Gus messed up my chain ! Bad work. I ordered a 24k 96g bracelet. His solder job is bad. It's not level. He blames me. For choosing 24k and saying it's soft. I have posted videos to show his work. Buyer Beware.
@gusvillajewelry2 күн бұрын
Your concern is of a 2 mm incline on the lock angle and calling it “bad craftsmanship” is simply unreasonable. The bracelet quality was great. But disagreement of opinion. Still we offered to refund it completely and offered MULTIPLE times via voice note to repair it. Still you chose to post videos, and comment here anyway, but I’m sure the purpose of your comment is to bring views on your video.
@MehhhBushka2 күн бұрын
@gusvillajewelry I don't want a refund. You offered to shave it. Not fix it. You state it's my fault for chosing 24k. That's it's soft. Ect. Yet one side is even. The other side is not even. That's pure craftsmanship
@MehhhBushka2 күн бұрын
@gusvillajewelry I can care less about views in my side. I hate social media. I don't have it. My videos are to show what someone will get. I'm trying to source some to fix it. Not shave it. That's the difference. Very simple. I pay for something to be correct. Not one side to even and the other not. You can clearly see the F up .... I did not complain about your links. Just the solder job that's not level. That's not because of the gold. That's because of the person doing it and being sent out as is. That's it. A refund would be kitco +28% your refund would net negative -10/20% . Then the stress of redoing the process over.

I'm sorry gus but Cvd is not the same as natural. Flat out it's not. One is man made by some dude in India while natural diamonds come from mother earth. Its cool to rock what u want but u don't need to talk down to natural diamonds. Its all about being informed on prices and not getting ripped off. You can buy natural for great prices if u know where to look or who to deal with.

@glasshousecp2 күн бұрын
You are still getting completely ripped off with natural diamonds because the value plummets. If you have to sell it in future you lose 40%-60% of its value. That's why he preaches lab. It is the exact samwthing for a way better price. The diamond market has lied and said natural diamonds are rare. That's a flat out lie. They are a dime a dozen. One company controls half the market and determines the value. It's criminal. Lab is the same quality and u pay less. Therefore u won't as much when trying to resell. He explained this on his video of going to India. Hes speaking facts!!

Then don't listen to what he says, because he's not giving the advice to you. He's giving it to the average person who would walk into a store and have no way of telling if the diamond was natural or cvd. Someone who has no knowledge or access to a machine that can tell them the difference, always run the chance of getting beat if they don't trust the jeweler. No one's going to be able to tell by the naked eye.
@gusvillajewelry2 күн бұрын
Only the upmost shadiest jewelers don’t tell their customers if they’re buying natural or lab. I’m simply telling you natural diamonds are a 100% manipulated market with nothing of value since their lab diamond counterparts offer the exact same thing at a fraction of the cost. But sure, keep believing the natural way is the smarter choice.
@TankBmore2 күн бұрын
@gusvillajewelry never said it was smarter. Its a preference thing. I just prefer something real over man made. And if u buy smart you don't take a hit. If I'm buying diamonds I plan to keep them. Otherwise it's all gold for me. Gold is king. Diamonds are a luxury. If I want lab I might as well go really cheap and buy moissanite 🤷♂️
