Was so good to see this beauty yesterday at the NEC and meet you Matt! If you have lost audio I’d almost guarantee it’s the headunit amp rather than the speakers or your wiring. Great video!

Obviously the less stopping whilst the engine is cold the more economical the drive, try to do the errand that gets the engine warmed up then the others afterwards.

The fuel consumption seems poor because of the small fuel tank. I could only just get 290 miles on 1 tank full in my 1988 740GL

I had a 1986 740 GL in silver just like Matt’s as our family car for many years. Only difference it was an auto. with brick red coloured upholstery. Same wheel covers. Fond memories, it was a great car.
