Wireless Apple CarPlay in any Hyundai (Confirmed Working)

i have a 2024 palisade and it still requires a wire or an adapter. so far works great, but if you are listening to sirius radio it kicks the car plays map out of the screen and leaves the audio portion on. also if you choose to run the car's nav system at the same time as ..say apple car play it will kick off the apple map. so you're either all car play or all in hyundai systems. not both unless you go to bluetooth and use the audio only from the phone, then you can simultaneously use hyundai's nav, etc.

Possibly dumb question ahead…Does the adapter have to be plugged into the USB port above the wireless charger or can it be plugged into the USB port that is in the cubby below the radio?

The SS USB above the wireless charger. The console USB is just power.

How does it handle multiple devices? For example, let’s pretend you and your wife each have an iPhone and you’re both in the car. If both phones have connected to the adapter, how does it decide? First to connect? Last to connect? Or, is it linked to the driver profile?

Its odd that lower trim levels have wireless but more expensive trims do not.

There is a customer "Star" button you can predetermine the app or function. You can select Apple car play. I believe thats what he meant

Once I plug in the Carlin the Santa Fe loses bluetooth connection along with the Carlin. I tried to contact Carlin without success. Please let me know if I'm doing something wrong. Thanks

In your car, if you use WIRED CarPlay, is it full screen or it uses only like 60% of the screen? I have Hyundai Tucson 2021 and it has only wired CarPlay. When I connect my phone it uses only 60%-70% of the screen and rest has only CarPlay logo. So I am wondering if I get this adapter for wireless will it use full screen like in your car?

Sucks that you need an adapter, it’s just as easy to use the Ian and charge my phone at the same time. With all the technology you should be able to wirelessly use Apple car play without an adapter 🙄
