The Odyssey makers retired last year. The red hook one is a Candy shop hook. They stopped making those a couple of years ago. Those are great finds!!! Awesome 🎉

Good morning, Your right I never find a crochet hook of any kind, or crochet books 📚, it is usually knitting needles & books. I would have been so excited to see crochet hooks. You did great, I don't have any of those kind of hooks that you got. Yarn is so beautiful. I always wanted to be a elementary teacher it was always my dream, I had a big chalk board on the wall when I was a child. I used that chalk board all the time, I used to put my stuffed animal in rows and play teacher. I would grab a crayon out of the box and that would be my name 😅😂. I would write that name at the top of the board. Loved your video have a great day.

OMG...... I LOVED AC Moore. We got one here in Columbus, Ohio and only had it for 2 years when Michaels bought them out. I was so freaking PISSED. I spent so much time in that store!! I bought so much yarn, paint and canvases and other craft supplies. I miss it so much. I want it back!!!! I was pissed at Michaels when they bought them out that I don't hardly ever go into Michaels anymore. I have only been in Michaels 2 or 3 times in the last 3 or 4 years. I go to Hobby Lobby or Joann's. Love your score, can you say jealous!! I sure wish that I had a Scrap RVA in Columbus. I do get lucky at the thrift stores sometime. LOL Love you and your videos. Dk is how thick the yarn is. Its slightly thinner than worsted, which is the most common yarn in the market in the US

Good morning Jen, when I lived in Denton Texas I use to go to the Creative Reuse Store there. My baby sister (who passed away at 42 in 2020) and I loved shopping there. We use to do all kinds of crafty things together. I so miss my crafting buddy. I have two other younger sisters but they’re not into crafts at all. Anyways I no longer live in Texas. My husband and I moved to a little bitty town in Oklahoma far from any city, needless to say that there are no Creative Reuse stores near me. I’m able to drive an hour away, thank goodness, because Hobby Lobby, Joann’s and Michael’s are an hour away. At the creative reuse store I use to go to you would be lucky to find yarn there much less crochet hooks. You definitely scored big time at that store. I would love to find a furls hook in a thrift store because there’s no way I could justify spending that kind of money on just one hook. You bet if I find one I will definitely buy it so I can try one out to see what all the fuss is about 😊 The yarn you got was beautiful and great prices too. Thank you again today for sharing your adventures. I love crochet and if I'm sitting that's usually what I'm doing! In August I was diagnosed with early stage of Dupertrens contracture and trigger finger in both hands. My hands are always uncomfortable especially in my palms, but I still crochet, my question is concerning these longer, bigger round hooks: would they work for a person with small hands? The hooks I have now are regular size metal with an ergonomic type coating on the handles, they go past my palm by maybe a 1/2" and have worked well for me, but I was wondering if something even longer might be better for my hands?

The Odyssey manufacturers retired and those hooks instantly became collector items. I put mine away and do not use them. They sell for upwards of close to 100 each on Ebay. You SCORED!

I Absolutely Love and Miss AC Moore! It’s my understanding that Michael’s bought them then closed them. I didn’t go to Michael’s very often. AC Moore a lot. I didn’t cry but I was really angry that Michael’s closed them. I think they were closed because more people went to AC Moore than Michael’s. ☹️🥺😢
