A good version, regardless of the glitch. I kind of prefer the more country versions, but with the exception of instrumentation, Perry Como nailed it once again.

I was 5 when this was aired.....at 6 I sang first time on stage..and it was this song I chose to sing. It had a ringy ding to my frame of mind.

@@LifeOfJimbo So long ago.....in a rural Ohio town, no one brought a camera. I know I wore a blue and white flowered dress like Brenda Lee wore once on TV. I pop culture kid was I, that's for sure. I love your question, however. Sure do.

I think this clip came from 1955, not 1953. In the clip you will see Perry changing the CBS sign to NBC. It was in 1955 that he made that change.

What do I owe you for this correction....I can attest to it being 1955 because of the age I was when I sang it onstage as a child. I loved Como..and got to choose the song I wanted to sing in a talent show. I believe this clip is '55 because I was indeed 7 years old, in first grade, born in 1948 and knew where I was when I sang it, what I wore, the name of the school and the rest of the details important to dating this. Thank you so much!
