Landlord Responses… agree 100%! I’m a MTR Host as well as a FF traveler and ~95% of my inquiries to rent never receive a response. I would say that it is partly due to 1) old accounts that people are no longer using, 2) female landlords not wanting to rent to males (to avoid fair housing laws they just don’t respond) and 3) the landlord doesn’t want a 1 month vacancy gap and thus tell you that the property is booked when their calendar date clearly states otherwise. I think the best fix would be to integrate a response time percentage on every listing. That way someone inquiring has a good idea whether the landlord will even respond and it will encourage the Landlord to respond.

I think it's because there may be a ton of spam on the site, but I'm nott totally sure. That said, I 100% agree with the last point. The gap in rentals (holding it for a month for a tenant that will show up eventually), is causing headaches for the platforms and the hosts.

Another good content. MTR is a much larger demographics than just Traveling Nurses. people are still too focused on Traveling Nurses. There are too many overhyped YT contents on MTR who are misleading the public. But Erin is the best practical MTR experts out there. Better than Jesse Vasquez!!!

I'm only 15 seconds into the video and looking at the screenshot, I must stay I have a similar sentiment about the platform not being as responsive as I had wished. But I'm a homeowner not getting responses from the matches I'm renting out to. Just wanted to put that out there before I watch the rest of the video.

I think you may have your comments section set up such that people cannot reply to your reply. You asked me what I think is a good MTR market. I've tried unsuccessfuly to reply to your reply and it doesn't seem to save. So my short answer is, I think a good MTR market is an area that provides a steady flow of renters that will pay somehere in between what a STR pays, and a LTR.

As an owner/landlord with a full 3drm 2.5 bath, Furnished Finder has been a Flop 😢..

Yeah, it has some issues. You have to be strategic and I recommend emphasizing some other platforms more for rentals.

you too, huh? I've been on for about 4 months and getting some matches, but not had an actual person ready to move in yet. I take that back, I got one person who wanted to have their employee move in the same day as the request and I wasn't home. I guess they went on to the next option, because when I told them to get back to me the next day they didn't respond.

I think the response issues are a Furnished Finders issue.

Agree, which is why I think you should take Furnished Finder out of it by just posting your email or direct contact info up front. If that doesn't work, then there is a more substantial problem with the listing.
