The dresser is so beautiful. That could be a family heirloom now. I think rescuing discarded furniture is great because it has a story and it means something because you put all of that work into it. The little stool is beyond great. I collect stools and that turned out very well!

I enjoyed watching your beautiful upcycle. Please don't think I am complaining but some constructive criticism would be the sound when you play music over your video is really loud. Then if I turn that down, I can't really hear your voice. There are ways to lower the sound on the music you place in your video. If I were you I would definitely do that. The sound is pretty jarring especially if you are listening with headphones. Still really enjoyed your video.

Thank you for being so kind! I’m new at editing videos so it’s definitely been a learning experience. On my end it wasn’t like that but once I uploaded it changed the sound. Thank you so much for the feedback!! 🤗

Just found your channel and I love everything that you did. That coastal blue is beautiful and the stripe on the footstool with the blue feet was perfect. Best wishes on your channel and I will be looking forward to upcoming videos.

Thank you!! The stain is General Finishes Gel Java Stain and the sealer is Minwax Polyacrylic either the matte or satin finish. I typically do 2-3 coats of stain and 2-3 coats of poly. This is one of my favorite stains!!

Your pieces came out so well. Please, even out your sound levels, if you can. Wireless body mic for the workroom portions? 1:00 Out there, I have to turn my speakers all the way up to hear you and then the music blasts in. 7:25 Not as bad here but still levels are off. Thank you. Fray-Check for your ottoman material or leave the cut edges larger, stapling closer to the center, and staple/glue another cover piece over the bottom on the very edge.

In my painting program in college, to stretch a canvas on wooden stretchers we were taught to place the assembled stretcher over the center of the canvas. Then put one staple in side a, then one staple across to side c, then one staple on side b, then side d, pulling taut from side to side to get a nice taut surface. Then pulling gently at corner, place one staple on each side of those center staples, again doing the sides in order: a c, b, d. Then depending on the canvas size, you may have to place many more in the same manner. You have to pull it taut along the corners so those sides are stretched not only between the staples, but also across and diagonally. A stretched canvas surface should "ping" a little bit, but on an upholstered piece it should just look a BIT stretched and smooth. In your case, you have to continually check to make sure the stripes are not distorted. Then finally do the corners and miter them. On your piece they could be stapled bit by bit but you mitered them which is fine, but you ran into wrinkles or non-taut areas which meant you had to remove and restaple, which wastes time. That is just a note on how to stretch fabric on a stretcher, but which also applies to chair seats, stools, etc. Also, as you do things, please don't say "then WE will" because it is only YOU doing it. Say, "I will" as in "I will distress this piece next", or "I now will center the stool over the fabric", or "I am doing coat two of the chalk paint," not "we now will center the stool over the fabric." Also it is annoying when presenters call us viewers "guys". Often the word isn't even necessary. Instead of saying, "I hope you GUYS enjoyed this," say, "I hope you enjoyed this video." You is both singular and plural. Or call us peeps, viewers, people, folks, friends, or even "adorables" -- whatever; just not GUYS. Using the word guys is a bad habit. ALL that said, your flips were great, you included all necessary steps in a combo of real time and fast forward, and the items turned out beautifully. I hope you get big bucks for them! If I were younger, I would enjoy doing this so much.
