Melissa , take a picture of the broken piece and then call Temu customer service and tell them it is broken, they may give you some money back . They did for me on a piece of furniture I bought and put together but was too small for my husband’s shoes. It’s worth a try .

They have very good customer service of course it is typing but they refunded all of a cabinet for me when the slides were junk and would not function at all. So reach out they will do a partial refund for your broken piece

I would probably jump off a cliff before attempting this project! Seriously in High School they gave us a vocational testing. When finished, the teacher God bless her heart, said sweetheart do not go into any profession requiring you to put anything together! lol! Once my grandkids got puzzles with more than 10 pieces, they were on their own. I just can’t see how things should go together. The family knows and so put everything together for me.

My husband (#3 & last) and I have been married 18 years, but before we got together I was single for quite a few years. I was very independent and had to put things together myself. I still put things together myself and I am pretty good at it because I have had years of practice.

I'm one of those people that pay the $20 to Canadian Tire to get the student employees to put together ( so far) 2 kids bikes, 3 BBQs (don't ask 😅), a basketball basket stand, a universal excercise machine,... You have way more patience than I do, honestly I wouldn’t even attempt to try to put something like this together. Just a thought: If you would like to make the knobs fancier, Dollar Tree sells glass ones in pretty colors.

Yea. Thats cool and congrats on the build. I've made 2 pieces of Temu furniture in the last three weeks. I made a large printer stand that has three drawers and also shelves and wheels. And I made a large desk hutch that goes on top of my desk. I did find those black multi piece drawer sliders confusing but figured it out. I love that you are a real person and do real life stuff. I bought a dresser from Temu! I'd been eyeing the exact same one at Walmart for $75 and saw it on Temu for $40, so I grabbed it. I love it! The funniest thing was it came shipped from Amazon.

Get some contact paper for the top and for inside the drawers. You can even get a nice marble looking pattern. Take a piece to cover up the little boo boo on the wood inside the mirror.

As you know I have cancer so I don't get to do much anymore. I love to diamond paint but I had to work on a little TV table. I told my Dad how much I would love an actual work space. I found a nice basic desk/table for $30. My Dad gave me the money to buy it for my birthday )so I now have an actual workpkace. He gave me an extra $20 to buy some kits!. My hubby and I got it together without too much trouble and I love it. I would recommend their furniture if you are willing to put it together.

I was excited to see this because I bought a cabinet for my bathroom through Temu and I was actually really amazed at how easy it was to put together! I loved the diagram instructions instead of crazy written ones! I just laid everything out just as shown in the manual and it all came together beautifully!! It’s sturdy and looks amazing! I love assembling furniture. Awesome job. I did notice a few gaps between boards where you may need to screw together just a bit more. That may take care of the problem with drawer.

You talked of getting a mat to put across the front. Please note that if you get it long enough to put it in front of drawer, the drawer can not open, unless you were referring to just some type of protective paper.😊

I absolutely LOVE putting things together!!! If a box is too heavy to move - I open it and take a few parts at a time. I use a muffin tin to hold all of the hardware and I like to use wood glue in all the places where pegs or cams & pins attach the parts together. Sometimes you run into a piece that won’t cooperate…that’s when I take a nice break, sit down with a soda & a snack and pull myself together! Then I go back at it! Hope the vanity works out for you!

I know exactly what you mean when husband and wife try to work together on a project.....🤣😂 It's really nice vanity, to bad a piece got damaged but you can always camouflage it. Was surprised to see that the knobs weren't white like the vanity but those can always be swapped out for different drawer pulls on Temu as well if you wanted too!!! 💕YAY MELISSA 👏👏👏. I would never have done that no matter how much I wanted change! I have a very similar set up as your old one and I will never change it. I love the shower chair!!! They are pretty comfy. I use a wooden chair from a table set that a friend made for my (now grown) daughter. It was maple.....I wasn't going to throw it out 😂. The best way to pick up heavy things in a box if it fits up your stairway and it’s not longer than your stairs it’s to put it on the first step and flip it up to the next up to the next to next light kinda like you roll, pushing it up each stair so you don’t have that big breaking work you know trying to haul something like that hope that helped

I have those vanity lights, LOVE them. I would’ve opened the box and taken a few pieces up at a time. DON’T hurt your back sweetie.❤ I’ve been curious about the furniture. I figured it would be like IKEA furniture. Don’t use anything electric. Screw it in by hand. Believe me I know my ex husband ruined everything by. using power tools instead of using his hand. It looks like a standard cam lock. You use a flathead screwdriver to tighten but DON’T over tighten. I have Construction background.😉 Oh wow, mine don’t twist to retract the wire, bummer. I still love mine anyway.😊 Not too shabby. Tfs. Have a great afternoon.🤗

Awesome job! you made my arthritis in my hands flair up with that manual screw driver lol! they sell electric ones pretty cheap, rechargeable, and decent quality on temu, might help in future projects. Hauling that thing up 50 million stairs, no grip holes and just an awkward box, then saying you're out of shape? Woman, this whole thing you did was amazing and that looks good, be proud of you.

looks pretty functional to me! you could change it up a bit and protect the finish with some pretty peel and stick paper. Temu even has colored papers , so if in a new room and want a different look , go for it.

I think it looks great. I never used to have help putting things together but now my hubby and I try to do things together as it goes faster. Yes we snip at one another but not bad enough that I wouldn’t do it without him. The price was right too. I got one on marketplace for $75 but it’s not as big as yours. My chair is like a normal chair tho which I like. Ive been looking at furniture on there and now I may do it.

Cute! I love putting furniture together I just had to do a craft organizer cart recently for a sponsorship. And my only struggle was they didnt show how to release thw two parts of the drawer sliders 🤣 the instructions said 60 minutes so I was timing it trying to fit in the 60 minutes.

I got a tip for juddering drawers that shake or stick, use a wax candle along the runners, ya know one of those stick ones, the old fashioned kind, worked well for me & solved the problem. When it occurs again you just do it over. I hope this helps. Well done by the way.

I would use marbled contact paper on it to protect it which is easily removable and you can change it whenever your mood changes.

In your case, that would look like you got the thing on the bottom of the step you lay down like a slide and then you pick where the one step is that’s higher you kinda flip the box up and then you push it back now and then you do that so about every stairs, it will flip up. I don’t know if that makes sense, but it does help out. If you don’t want to hurt your back
