Chad without headphones is the most powerful being. The only thing that can defeat him is reading the boss spell card name. And the “Extra” extra stage is in touhou 7 not touhou 8.

@@Catapu1t Yeah, also you should probably unlock the extras with SakuyaA instead of Marisa since SakuyaA has the best of everything, a homing focus with slightly more damage than Marisa(from my experience), a decently small hitbox and starts with 4 bombs instead of 3.

While there's no Phantasm Stage in this game, there are unlockable "Last Word" spell cards in the practice mode, that don't show up anywhere else, including attacks for all eight playable characters in the game. If you *really* want to complete this game, you'd probably want to come back for those at some point.

For Honest Man’s Death you’re supposed to constantly move to the side of the screen where the laser hasn’t spawned yet; it actually doesn’t have a hitbox for a moment after it spawns

not just for the moment - it only gains hitbox once it crosses where your character have been at the time it spawned. The hint is in the name - as the honest man, you are supposed to not run away from certain death

@@Catapu1t well it's a button in damn main menu :) but admittedly only games starting with 13, plus 8, have innate spell practice, for other games you would need mods or smth

Hey bro, just for giving some help: there are cheat codes in touhou, like this one: Hold Ctrl and press Right five times, Left one time, D two times, and Q three times. If done correctly, you will hear the 1up sound. Then all caracters can be played alone and stage practice will be allowed for EVERYONE in every difficulty
