Nathan's a beast. I was blessed to see Eric and his great band three times in 13 months. Crossroads, Hollywood Bowl and Robbie Robertson tribute. All show's were wonderful.

Still singing, still playing better than many half his age. No longer young and singing like an older man; nothing wrong with that! Maybe not so fast over the fretboard as in times past, but the fluidity and the signature lines are still there. No reason to stop yet, Eric- you are a long way from the sad performances we have witnessed from some.

Yes, I'm a big fan of him too, but I feel the same way. He's starting to slip into Chuck Berry's late mistake. Eric still has control over the instrument, but the magic is starting to slip away. The tour is too much for him. He should only pick up a guitar in public on exceptional occasions. That would keep his nimbus. But it's his decision and his life...

he's about the only 'old man' that did not lose the voice. The pentatonic guitar chops are still ok as well (though not like lightning anymore) Other thing that did not change in his: he's still prone to get involved with idiots and misled by them, like Roger Waters or his Italian anti vax 'doctor' friend. That is what addiction does to you, you might get rid of one, but the brain remains damaged.
