"Bonus content!" - lovely :) I enjoy the new audio quality! Much better. Posture is such a key in running, I am grateful for your latest videos on that topic. And the dedication in the rain... beautiful.

I have changed to more hip forward type movement, ie, driving thru the hip, chin tucked ,long back neck. Now the angel arms or at least a gap, this is making my runs so interesting. Thanks so much!

I have experienced power from changing how I “stand” upright vs leaning forward. And when i engage my glutes, I flow as I run… seemingly effortlessly. Merci Lawrence for your wisdom & allowing me to change how I run. P.S. wow the downpour u and ur wife(? I’m guessing) stood in to make this video. My son and I hv said we love running in rain and snow. The peace & no one else is outside 😆 💖 I appreciate you. 🙏🏼

Aaaw thank you and I am so happy your relationship with running is going more to a place of trust and joy. Yes Camera Gwen stood in the rain. I really should have mentioned her. Nature is amazing and immersing yourself in nature is so visceral and amazing. Some of our best runs are like yourself in snow and rain and extreme weather. 🙏🏻❤️

Great insight the Angel illustration.. Would like to see a video of Arm carriege since it seems to have an important impact in the upper body movement. God bless 🙏🏼 🙏🏼

I don’t mind how high or low your hands are held. You can run straight arms like some Japanese runners or super high like some Kenyan runners or anywhere in between. Just stack your posture (don’t force this) and use arms to help shift forward and find your happy place.

Thanks for all the videos! These have really helped me transform my road running and helped me overcome some chronic running pain I've been dealing with. Question for you though, how does this all translate to steeper downhill running? On flat ground, I feel like I can run in a natural way like you describe. But going downhill, I find myself leaning back too far and landing with my legs too far ahead of me. I have started running a lot of trails and I haven't been able to intuitively understand downhill motion the same way I have understood uphill motion. I'd love any insight you have!

Thank you for the kind words. I will do a video on steep hill running shortly. It’s a whole thing.

@@LawrencevanLingen Can't wait for that video. Just by fooling around I discovered several 'secrets' to faster downhill running without pain or injury. They are definitely related to this. Will be sure share notes.
