I wish more Spy mains were chill like this. I'm a Pyro main and countering good spies is genuinely some of the most fun I have in the game, but every time I get one worth focusing on they just turn into a rabid bigot having breakdowns in the chat. These MFs need to find their inner peace... Maybe then they won't get smoked so hard

Artists like Lemon Jelly and Múm have become synonymous with spy frag movies thanks to watching spies like you and Moo over the years. I love IDM and it fills me with so much joy to see an undercurrent of appreciated for what I think is a really underrated genre of music (if you can even call it a single genre) in a community celebrating my favorite class in one of my favorite games. I'd love to be able to add some of your own compositions to my playlists on Spotify if they ever make it onto that platform one day. Your voice commentaries also lend themselves to this laid-back tone which is so comfortable to watch spy clips to. Greatly appreciate what you do always.

Appreciate the kind words. I don't plan to put anything on Spotify at this point--I'm told, however, that Spotify allows users to add local files to their playlists; so there's always the option of buying + downloading from msuic.bandcamp.com and adding the song(s) to your playlist from there ;]

Your vid really puts into perspective how insane the Amby nerf logic was in the big picture. In a vacuum, I understand the argument for its nerf. Yet this logic is seemingly thrown out the window with the diamondback existing. The diamondbacks ability to crit on bodyshot with no damage falloff or range cap while amby spy players have to have perfect conditions and to actually land a headshot in order to receive maximum crit damage. Sure spy always has the potential to crit with the amby (except there's a range cap,) but in practice the DB spy works for less and gets more out of the gun when it's needed.

Was using this loadout when new xmas maps droped I actually started enjoying casual spy again It's not so stale and boring anymore, for the very long time I wasn't using diamond back becasue it's cheap and stuff but I've been playing this game for so long I don't need to prove that I have over 1000h on spy anymore I just want to relax and have some actually good time and this build is exactly what I needed no need to worry that I didn't hit all 6 shots but 5 and died, but just get some good stabs and just 2 tap every mistaken guy that I fell into

I've tried this loadout so many times except without the DB, and that really helps pull this together. Especially compared to the l'etranger or even stock it gives you the survivability when undisguised to make this work

I think it's strength lies in that all 3 weapons require someone else to account for them. You never really expect a spy to pull them all out, if he's using the DR probably gonna be a Kunai user and for example. So you turn around after only accounting for one those, only so much time to spend on paranoia.

your recent video made me appreciate more my own silly variant of this. you run the letranger, the DR and the big earner. u just kind of poke at people with the letranger, maybe u finish off that low hp player. then u DR away bc god forbid ppl pay attention to a spy shooting. run off, decloak. do it all over again from a different position. all while slowly making your way downtown, the nearest HP pack, maybe sap that teleporter stood outside their spawn. very fun. i feel bad when i use the diamondback. it feels too easy. and the letranger helps charge the DR so you can move around more. sure it deals crap damage but that helps me get better by requiring i hit more shots. thanks for that last video. rly made me remember what i liked about spy. the old school ways. the kunai/cloak and dagger. the parkour, movement. all the funny stuff

Opinion on the overused Kunai + DR + Le'tranger loadout?
@stabbyvideo5 күн бұрын
I don't pay attention to trends, really. I think every loadout has its usefulness depending on the situation and one's playstyle. As a player who likes to focus the objective, I do like to use that particular loadout in a number of situations, but I imagine many people run it simply because it's ideal for chaining trickstabs. Whatever floats your boat!

it's a little big and more of a palm grip than I like, but I'm trying to get used to it because the build quality and features are quite nice. Startled to find that a higher polling rate is something I notice as an improvement, tbh.

@ yeah I remember how strange it was going from the deathadders to the viper. The sides of my pinky, ring finger, and thumb essentially became part of the skates. That coupled with the Glorious Ice pad really transformed my tf2 and spy gameplay
@mysteriousTF24 күн бұрын
@@stabbyvideo It's always like that with viper at the beginning, but then you get used to the grip and in my opinion it allows you to concentrate more in the game. It took me a long time to get used to it, but it's worth it.
