There is no locker storage. We were lucky to have my mom watch our belongings, but people left their bags there on the catamaran. Some people had waterproof phone cases around their necks amzn.to/3jgGXUy In my experience, I wasn't a fan of it because it was too heavy, so I love my waterproof belt bag instead and it could hold more like my chapstick and fit passports amzn.to/3jfL4A6 Just make sure you test it out first, right before you get in the water EVERY TIME, with your phones inside and bring a spare just in case. My waterproof belt bag tore on the side after being used about the 5th time in over 2 yrs. I probably jammed packed it too much, while not using it in the water and ripped it during the cruise 😅

This is great information on this excursion! I was on the fence about taking my 6 and 9 year old, but this made me feel brave. One note on the video: please pan your camera slower. It made me motion sick to watch this.

Definitely depends on your 3 yr old. My 3 yr old can’t walk for that long or far. He needs to take a “break” 🤣. So we did stroll him around on the ship and it is a must for us at ports and excursions. There were also times that he slept in the stroller for shows or during dinner time bc he was just so tired.

At 3:45, I can see the orange life jackets that they have in the middle of the beach. However, I don't know if they have any for little ones, like my toddler. My toddler is comfortable with his puddle jumper because he can't swim in the regular kid life jacket. It keeps him too upright. I would bring something your kiddos are familiar with, just in case. If bringing a life jacket for your kiddos is not possible, you can use the same inflatable life jacket that you wear on the catamaran and bring it on the beach, and then return it back on the catamaran. The inflatable life jacket, you can see at 1:52 that my son is wearing. Just blow it up and add more air and that will keep your kiddos afloat.

Great Video! My partner and I are going on this excursion in June. Just curious, we both don't know how to swim. Do you think the snorkel vests are enough for inexperienced swimmers when we go snorkelling? We are travelling to the cruise port internationally and want to be mindful of our luggage. If a snorkel vest they provide isn't enough then we may consider buying one the day we embark.

Yes, definitely! The more air you blow into it, the more you will be afloat. However, I would definitely try to build confidence by practicing. If you have a chance then you can practice at your local pool, where a life guard is present. Also, I would definitely let them know you cannot swim so that you will have an instructor near you and your partner always. I think on the boat there were about 6-8 people? However, you can also request a life jacket if you are comfortable with floating in that instead. I did see a non-swimmer bring a pool noodle to help her snorkel as well, since that gave her peace of mind. I hope that helps

There is one, but it was down below the deck. You would have to climb a ladder to get there and the Captain instructs you where it is, when he is going over the safety procedures. We didn't use the bathroom on the catamaran but at the Fury beach, we did.

No, just burgers and chips unfortunately 😭 But I would totally recommend eating a full breakfast on the ship and possibly bring some sealed snacks on the catamaran. If anything, you can always eat on the port right after the beach day too, since it is walking distance.

The advertisement says they take you to "explore reefs" ... I took this to mean that you would snorkle at a reef. .... If this isn't the case, I may change our reservation. I feel like that is false advertising! ... Was this your impression as well when you booked your excursion? Did they say why they didn't take you to a "reef" to snorkle??? Please help! I don't want to be disappointed!

We did not snorkel at a huge reef. We snorkeled at smaller reefs. If you like to snorkel at huge reefs. You will definitely be disappointed bc I was. But I was happier my toddler was able to swim next to us and I loved the private fury beach with water inflatables.

We have NEVER done anything like this, so I think what is in our heads are like what pictures and videos you see in text books and online, etc of the bigger reefs haha ... I enjoyed your video, you have a beautiful family & am happy you still had a great time despite not getting to see a larger reef!
