Before anyone complains about AJ fighting Whyte, before then going on to fight Wilder potentially if he gets past Whyte. Fury is doing an exhibition with Ngannou, and no knockdowns are allowed. AJ is risking tens of millions to take a decent fight, before a mega fight. Just shut up and praise him, cause none of the other HW other than Usyk are doing anything worthwhile.

Fury ducks people, Joshua doesn't. There is no disgrace in Joshua's three losses, in Usyk's case he was fighting a highly technical, experience, smaller, faster, Usyk who has supreme distance control, timing, efficiency, angles and stamina...and would probably outbox most heavyweights...and Usyk is used to dealing with big punchers, who are even more mobile and fast from the cruiserweight division. As for Ruiz, Ruiz is fast, powerful, athletic, durable and fluid and again has good distance control and stamina...despite his poor dietary discipline. Ruiz can also kick the crap out of everyone in the division. Joshua fought an old Klitschko but he was still a Klitschko who was athletic and powerful and would have beaten most heavyweights...The Klitschko who fought Joshua was older but better and more motivated...and Fury dodged the rematch. You pick holes in the records of all heavyweights, that their opponents were old etc... But Joshua in general has taken on big fights. Fury has only really beaten an old Klitschko and a very one dimensional Wilder...he has not faced other danger men of the division such as Zhang, Joyce, Dubois, Usyk, Ruiz etc. Joshua is clearly now risk averse in his mentality and style as his answer made clear here, but Joshua has always been dedicated to hard training and conditioning and improvement and learning.

It needs to make sense though. Going 12 rounds against a guy like Usyk to either retain or regain his belts makes perfect sense. Just like how he beat Ruiz in their rematch. But against a guy like Jermaine Franklin which was his comeback match after 2 losses, AJ was expected to KO him and make a statement. Instead, he dragged on the fight for 12 rounds.

Main thing Joshua needs and he may already have now is a good sports psychologist , he has all the tools to beat anyone in the division , just needs to make the right choices and believe in himself , once all comes together and I know the clock is ticking then anything is possible , I know from experience in other sports where we have turned around athletes fortunes proving the critics wrong , when athletes train their mind as much as their body you see the results , AJ seems in a better place now and even though I’m not a diehard AJ fan I would love to see him shut Jelly Belly up for good and expose the pikey Prince who doesn’t have the conviction to back up his words

@@Bacon4Rashers background of the nation??? Not sure what you’re referring to. But I don’t think we in the UK are in any position morally to judge other nations because Britain has done far worse in history. usyk seems a lot more genuine than fury. Fury is dishonest cheating fraud full of shit. Cheated in all his big fights with drugs and glove tricks and now he’s ducking. Nobody wants to see him fight mma fighter cz it’s boring. He wins in the ring and they win in the cage.

Never Joshua talking so freely, it seems no pressure from media. He is humble person, win or lose does nt make his fans disappointed, infact his fans respect because of his simplicity. He is not like other fighters who always talk great about themselves, or only talk about money. That is why his fans like him the way he is.

AJS biggest mistake was Trying to box a supreme boxer Usyk in there 1st fight. Majority of boxing people said AJ just needs to blast him out. Compare Kilichkos upper cut received from AJ Usyk fight there was no punch that really connected to him. Even though Usyk is fast AJ never took the fight to Usyk Then lost 2nd fight through similar thing.

AJ really is a nice guy. But unfortunately, it's that nice guy mentality that hurts him. He's missing that ferocity that guys like Wilder and Fury have. If he had that, he'd probably be the best heavyweight ever. But unfortunately, that's not something you can work on. You either have it, or you don't.

11:43 "...I never wanted to be a boxer". That's the biggest statement I got from this interview. Some of AJ's performances seem to reflect this. Sometimes, it's as if these words start going round in his head, and he knows he doesn't need to do this anymore. That's why, unfortunately, there won't be an AJ legacy...

I was watching the hat-man video and I now know this was the video he was referring to in regards to the expectation of Joshua doing 12 rounds and that of Tyson fury. Tyson fury getting stuck in or under pressure oppose to Joshua being gun-shy under what he believes Joshua's response to being hit. Hat man names wallin, Mc'Dermot and wilder to name a few, one of which should of got stopped, franklin going back as far as Ruiz were the rematch and win was decisive with Joshua. Joshua is right...! its very flip flop opinions whereby a victory is not as rewarding as the performance when it comes to Joshua and of course it keeps changing. You can see what Joshua is learning when it came to franklin, Joshua's was very professional performance and clean, he evaded, slip shots with counter straights, hook , uppers and body, I even see him turn franklin a few times as well. in that fight you heard one of those commentators say: Joshua need a knock out for it to be deemed a good performance and franklin needs one for a win, that remark proves that a win other then one merited by a good performance and a knock out takes precedence over a performance alone that got the actual win.

The problem with Fury being this complete fighter, is that he rarely fights top opposition and killers. He's not consistent and he drains fighters with his b.s and diva antics so much that when he ducks fighters they get fed up and move on. Fury still has a lot to prove and should never be compared to someone like Ali. Ali set the standard of taking on all comers at their best no ducking.

2bf this did seem like the old AJ.. A sense of confidence, a sense of knowing himself. Sometimes events in life lead us to ask the questions, who am I, and what do I represent. Events positive or negative, which lead us to ask this question, ultimately lead to growth..AJ was down, from being down, I see growth here! The upcoming fight with White may have aided this (They bring out the best in each other) - The AJ we see in this press conference, goes on to reclaim the world titles - 100 percent....This AJ Fury will Dodge...This AJ is the one the sports needs. Looking good, feeling good - COME ON AJ....and as for Froch - whatever his name is, needs to keep his gob shut.
