I backed this project and out of the box the wood is split and dinged. There is feedback noise using bluetooth.

Is the stylus/cartridge replaceable? What’s the tracking force? I imagine since gravity is working more against the needle than with it it’s a mechanical press rather than working with a counterweight. Also are we able to connect it to external speakers either with RCA/aux cables or Bluetooth? No offense but I’d rather use my bookshelf speakers and dedicated sub than the little ones built into it. It’s an interesting design but I’m skeptical on how well it will actually play records. My above questions are my main concerns with it.

Also one more thing but can you only play 12” records on it or can you change speeds and play 7” 45’s as well? That one isn’t a dealbreaker for me but I am curious!

I don't really know if the cartridge is replaceable (I don't think so by the looks of it), the stylus is, of course. Fuze specifies the tracking force at 4 grams, which, while rather high by today's standards I'm sure won't be enough to prevent tracking problems considering the vertical design. According to their site, it has RCA line out as well as Bluetooth. (Though, honestly, if you're not going to use the crappy built-in speakers, which sound incredibly tiny even in their promo video, why buy a full system at all?) It has a selector for 33 1/3, 45 and 78 RPM, the plastic platter seems a little too small for LPs (you can still play them though). I'd not recommend you buy it, there are great entry-level turntables that blow this thing out of the water for less money. This is basically a Crosley Cruiser put on its side and cheap Radio/Bluetooth chips added

This gets terrible reviews on Amazon. Does anyone actually have one of these? Great way to sell Bob Marley records! 😂

I just got one. I don’t know why it has so many terrible reviews. I love it. All my friends love it. For basic record playing needs with Bluetooth and radio, it’s pretty great. I mean, if you’re an audiofile, I’m sure it’s lacking. But if you just like a decent record player to do just that, play records, it’s perfect. Volume wise, it’s great for an apartment, condo or bedroom.
