AFTER INSTALLING THE NEW PM PARTS
1. Turn on the main power.
2. Output the SMC logging data (page 5-48 "SMC Page Printing") and check the counter
values.
3. Make sure that the PM counters for the replaced units are "0" with SP7-621 and
SP7-944.

A fusing jam, which does not reach the paper exit sensor, is detected three times consecutively.
If paper exits normally (passes the paper exit sensor), the count will be cleared.
This detection is effective only when the setting of
SP1-159-001 (Fusing jam 3 times SC setting) is set to “1
(he)". (Default: 0 (off))

The Halogen lampe looks same like Ricoh FT 4618, Now Ricoh is producing toys, they wana to make the after-sales service work and to lower the prices of the toner and the machine to be more copetitive, with the risk of losing its maintenance technicians and the love of its customers for the robustness of the old machines, that's unfortunate. Times change, so are tastes.

Hi, the lamp is similar but has different parameters. The manufacturer replaced with one lamp the known system from MP2000 where there were two lamps. I do not know what to think about it. Have you seen that there are no bearings? they only used bushing. The copier is plastic but fantastically cheap.
