Is there a way to have FUSER "listen" to the whole track instead of just a few seconds?

I'm using FUSER on tracks with gain/volume automation. This means I'm not really sure of what values to dial in on the input gain, etc since it changes all the time along the track. Any general rule of thumb for such cases?

How come I do not see that top area in my plugin where you have access to the side chain button? Using Reaper?
