Cool video, one thing I don't get is why you suggest to put a metering plugin before Reference? I like to put metering plugins after Reference so I can compare the loudness when switching between my mix and reference tracks in Reference...

Can't wait to use reference 2! I loved the original but found it a bit confusing at times, this new one looks much clearer

Is there anyway I can match the EQ of a original track to a reference track?I was hoping this would be a EQ match but it seems to be more a loudness match.

absolutely amazing plugin that combines some analyzers i was using before - if the algorithm works this is gonna be a game-changer. big thanks to the developers for understanding exactly what an engineer needs in a mastering session. ps: in future updates it would be great if the plugin detect the reference file bpm to create a grid that we can use to snap loop start/end points.

Thanks so much fro the very kind words. We actually do beat detection in the reference tracks to get start stop end points, we just don't really mention it in the documentation. It should line up pretty well :)

"All our Ref files should be 48k... if we work in 48k in the DAW"? I have a LOT of 44k files for refs. What would the result be of converting all of those or not? I just got the update. Thanks!

What Era of "Country Music" did you use to get the target? Might be good to have Modern, 90's & traditional.

I love Ref2! I just used Refsend to look at the "difference" Fresh Air plugin did to a vocal. Gave me an idea of what the curve looked like. But this would be a great tool for that type of analysis if the resolution was higher... or maybe a preference to use it as such? Thanks!

Please add the option to use reference tracks from youtube.I know the format is not lossless but not all references are available comercially, e.g. jams from one favourite producers.
