as you point out the draft command makes the radius shift along the post part. That is not in the blueprint. I made it have the same radius all the way (a little bit more finicky by surface modeling) and therefore ended up about 0,8g heavier :) I really enjoy your challenge videos!

My first thought was to do a sweep for the mid-section. Totally forgot about revolve there! Much simpler without having to make a path.

I try my best to implement the feature hierarki of Extrude > Revolve > Sweep > Loft > "Other stuff". It's easy to be blinded by all the cool new feature :)

Nice design! I would like to add draft on the sides also. One thing I want to point, if you want to print it on the side, then fillets not the right tool, because it will make overhang. Better to use chamfered sides.

Thank you very much for your video! This was really helpful. I changed the second esquisse to have the hole, because I needed the holes to have a specific distance and it worked perfectly. Made it a bit bigger on some dimensions.

Sideway printing holes can be done with square, hex or octagon with no or simple support as an alternative to round, here a square might be nice. On the visible part for the screw head, and then 3d print plug if it needs to be hidden. Nice to see the workflow! 💪👍

My Printer hade no problem with the small holes in this design, but "simplifying" holes like you suggested is a good design intent for 3D printing 👍 It's no problem designing stuff that will give a lot of headache then manufacturing :)

I've made holes with additional construction plane and 'hole' command. For some strange reason Fusion refuses to make draft for me, so instead I've used surface by sweep.

Kristian - Thanks, for the Video, Solution and Explanation. Just for fun and your amusement, I posted my SIX element solution, but I think KZbin deleted it because it contained a Fusion 360 File Link.

Yeah YT has started hating links. Reducing and playing with workflow is how i learned the software :)

@@KristianLaholm - If you are interested, I could maybe republish the link, without a prefix and containing spaces that you would have to add and delete.

@@WA0UWH I could see you file (YT emails all comments) looks good :) I avoid 3D sketching because it's hard to fully define the sketch.
