Hi. The mirror function is very dangerous and non-intuitive in the case of mirroring threaded holes not as shapes but as features. If we reflect the threaded hole in the plane as an object, it is obvious that the result will be a threaded hole with reverse threads. However, if we mirror a hole with a right-hand thread using MIRROR [features], be very careful and note that the result will also be a reverse thread, i.e. a left-hand thread in this case. This is crazy and in my opinion a bug of FUSION360.

after mirroring can i add features or more sketch data that's not on mirrored side or what i add to side after mirroring is on the other side? Your mirroring vid help me some thanks great video

Once I mirror a body can they be separated from each other. For example, After creating a cookie-cutter I realize that I have forgotten to mirror the sketch and up until now I have started all over or have mirrored at my 3D slicing software. I would rather correct the mistake in Fusion. I used your video and have successfully mirrored the body. When I try to delete the first body I get a warning message about deleting dependent bodies.. (something like that) basically Fusion doesn't like that. I either need to flip the whole body and not mirror or break the dependency. Any guidance? Thanks for this quick and concise video. I learned several things that will help me with my cookie work :-)

Great video. What if I want to mirror something to the other side of a cylinder but flip it left to right?

Fantastic but how do you get those commands? The one in create makes a perfect preview but when I hit ok it just makes a copy.
