The other option is the one that I use frequently... delete the entire sketch and start over again, before you realize that you've just spent more time on finding the constraint than it would've taken to just draw it again. I'd like to see Fusion implement some tools to trace down bad links and constraints on sketch geometry - it often feels like I'm on a treasure hunt to get things working.

There have been a few times when I have had a large sketch with several different constraints to the origin of the sketch. Then, I discover I need to offset something and to do that, I need to delete one constraint... The lesson I learned was that I try not to have too many constraints piled up on a single point (especially the origin). It would be great if Fusion had a list view of all the constraints in a sketch. My most common way to start a sketch is to draw a rectangle, then a construction line diagonal through that and then do a midpoint constaint on the diagonal to the origin, which will then center the rectangle on the origin, but makes it easy for me to change my mind later and move the whole sketch.

A little trick that I stumbled on. Whilst in sketch mode, if you turn off (un tick) constraints in the sketch pallet you can then click on a part of the sketch, be it a line, curve, point or whatever and it will show the constraints related to those objects whilst keeping the rest hidden. accessing the constraints this way makes them easier to hover over as well. Hope this helps someone down the line.

The frustration I have is when you see 2 constraints, like you had with the junction of the two lines. And F360 doesn't tell you which constraint does what. If it is complicated sketch, I will try to delete one of the many constraints and Undo if that was the wrong one. Then try the 2nd one, etc. 😬 And many times, F adds constraints that you didn't explicitly want.

It would be nice if Fusion highlighted BOTH lines for a coincident constraint just to make it clear where it is. I mean they already make it hard by hiding the icons, and you need to mouse over ever so carefully otherwise they vanish again... Would also nice if you could just select the node and delete it taking all the constraints with it rather than go thru them one by one (didn't you used to be able to that?)

This is one reason, that I have disabled the auto project feature in the settings. I really like to decide which geometry is project to the sketch.

Video was excellent, but there are definitely some infuriating problems that occur in fusion, like the auto constraints when you don't want them, and referencing other sketches that are off.

It's even harder to unterstand when english isn't your first language... It would allso helped if your vocabulary were little bit more from this area😆 But yeah, getting there. Slowly but surely. Luckily there's KZbin... Got a question, not related to this video. And may or may not asked million time's before. Have a plans for boat. Boat is fabricated out of aluminum sheet's. What is the best/easiest way to make a drawing for CNC-laser and CNC-brake? Have been trying to make it in sheet metal mode. But i found out that makeing a full assembly is impossible in this mode...nor i just dont know how to do it. I have managed to get to the point that i have a bended piece of sheet metal component but i dont know how to finalise it (part of the component has curved faces that need to be jointed)
