Thank you, have been searching for how to do this and found a lot of videos that were 10x longer and didn't explain it so quickly and simply. Great tutorial!

I'm new to fusion and maybe I'm missing something but I don't understand why you make it so complicated. If you set a start and end point of movement on a transformation node, you can then set new intermediate points directly on the straight line that appears in the viewer and the movement will follow that path. I'm doing it and it works perfectly. Sorry if my question is stupid but I don't see the difference and it is much simpler. Thank you anyway.

Bro I myself didn't know this ... Thank you a lot ... If I would have used the process taught in the video it would have taken me ages if I were to make some simple small bits of text animation tho what he said has its own implications but non the less thanks .... I was searching about this on reddit n yt for hours 🤡 i should have better used the transform node first

This is exactly what I wanted to know.. Thank you for this series.. EDIT - I had a few questions 1. What does 'publish' option do? 2. Can we make our own transition effect with custom settings like already found in davinci and save them for using in different projects? If yes then how?
@rodrigomacias
@rodrigomacias Жыл бұрын
1. I'm not sure what "publish" actually do, but whenever you want to use your spline or polymask information on another node you have to publish it in order to be available on the menu. 2. Yes you can, check out the other Lazy artist tutorials on transitions, I learned to make my presets here. 🤪

Fantastic video, as always! If you had a directional shape, is it possible to flip it as it changes direction? Let's say an arrow pointing right going one way, and flipping when going back? Or even as it's bouncing?

This looks fantastic and the instructions are really clear. However I've tried it over & over (DR 18.6), even creating fresh project files, and I always get the same outcome. I draw a really large BSpine path that extends off the top & bottom of my 1920x1080 frame just like the one in the video. Yet when I get to the stage of r/clicking on Shape Animation and connecting to the spline value, my large BSpline path now shows as a tiny version of itself in the centre of the frame. Sliding the Displacement slider moves my image along the path, just like it does in the video, but it's only working to the tiny "version" of the BSpline path - not the full-size one that I see if I were to click back to the BSpline node. Really weird....Everything in the tutorial works perfectly, except instead of having a full size path that my image moves along, I has a tiny version of it. Do you have any ideas (I don't!)? Thanks
