Fusion Ficus Project, Prune & Defoliation - Try Bonsai

Since the first official repot of my 2 Fusion Ficus Trees, I allowed them to grow and strengthen. In this video, I defoliated and did some extensive pruning, geared toward creating my desired look for them in the future.
While working away, I didn't realise my microphone ran out of juice, so half of this video is without sound. I hope you enjoy it still, LIKE, COMMENT, SUBSCRIBE, and SHARE my channel with others who would benefit.

Love the retusa mate. It will be a really nice tree. Very glad you defoliated before pruning back😊 it’s always better to see what is really going on under the canopy. You are more fearless than me when it comes to defoliation and hard pruning my ficus so I learn from you and hope you do not mind some occasional advice.😅 Plastic straws are good to direct or straighten aerial roots. Your son did not last the first tree haha but wait till you have teenagers 😮 Have a good day.

The mosquitoes started bothering my son, so he left me for the safety and warmth of his room and his iPad lol.... My friend, I learnt go brave or go home so I'm going brave, even though I'm shaking on the inside 😭... I tried the straw technique once before and it worked...so thanks for the reminder....I'll apply it again...🎉🎉
