The Tisas 9mm DS for $499 was my first 1911 experience and I love that gun! I dig the look of that Fusion, but I may be too frugal to spend that while Tisas has some new features in the works. My CZ TS2 is probably going to be my only $1k + pistol. Too many solid budget options these days. Also, not a glock guy, so the glock mag thing is not a selling point for me. Love the content! Keep em coming!

Have HD on order. Got Xp Pro in a couple weeks ago. Have put a couple hundred through it. Mine was a nice surprise as for accuracy. With Atlanta Arms 115jhp was getting some really good groups at 50 yards from a support.

I would go with the fusion. When you get that staccato 4.5 . You put a small plague in the sight block. As much as you can fit without ruining it and a 4 portsman. Great videos as usual Brother.

I just watched RGG's LIVE. He had Bob Serva on from Fusion. He took and answered all the questions that were sent his way. He's a good dude. The story and processes behind the Fusion are second to none, especially at the price point. The raw materials used, the fact that every part in Tennifer treated (not possible in the USA made firearms due to EPA regulations), the process of manufacturing them, and so on. Only a fool would take a dump on Staccato, so I won't do that. For me though, after hearing Bob explain things, I honestly see no reason to spend more for a 2011. That's just me though. I always say buy what you like and enjoy. Life's too short not to. Great side by side Scott.

Was looking at the Staccato C but the Jacob Grey Hex caught my eye. I do love staccatos, but I think it’s fair to judge the fact that the rear sight fell off. This is a new design for them that is a selling point since the optic is behind it. Additionally, these are not cheap firearms and the reason is due to quality parts and CRAFTSMANSHIP. One of the reasons I may not purchase the HD line is because I don’t run optics and want a traditionally placed rear sight. That said, if yours fell off that may be a good thing for me as I don’t want it there anyway. Maybe I can find a plate with a rear sight to the rear and then it’d be great to pick up the 4.5.

Ordered my XP Pro a couple weeks ago and playing the waiting game now. The way I look at it, does the Staccato HD really perform twice as well as the XP Pro to justify costing more than twice as much? I would be willing to guess it doesn’t even perform 10% better to justify the price jump.

I ordered the 24C last year as soon as it was available… With being lefty I wish now I would have waited. I like the idea here of the HD, I hear the grip is a little bigger on this HD. I would get the 4” I’m going to wait and see if they do an aluminum frame with wanting to carry it all the time. Also I am waiting for the flat trigger as they said that’s coming in the near future... I also wonder if they will do an HD that takes Glock 19 mags. So with all this in consideration I will be waiting to see how this plays out and also save the money. Thanks for your update on this and I also like that you shot the C along side in this video.

Thanks for the comparison. I’d like to hear more about the build qualities. Tolerances, smoothness, fit and finish. Sometimes that can justify a higher price, as it requires additional labor (cost). Is the cheaper price simply because of the overseas labor costs? Or because of a slightly lower quality? Appreciate what you do my friend!!

Good video . Would be good if reviewers would do bench test at 25 yard and 50 yards for accuracy. The XP I have will consistently do less than 4 inches at 50 yards. I am wondering what the HD is capable of.

I would skip both for now. I'd skip the Staccato to wait for the "direct mount" optic plates to actually be in stock, and the grip on the XP looks really slick. I'm hoping that when Fusion comes out with their G10 grip, it will have plenty of traction.

Staccato is a bit late to the game, though. The 2311 and ds platypus,xp pro that do it for less. I know some that i have listed use different magazines. The Kennedy issue don't help they case either.

I have a Henning +6 extension on mine. Like 8 different colors to choose from. I have Hennings on all my pistols. Tried other brands and Henning is better imo.

They made this for LE and MIL sales... people refuse to understand this. The XP Pro will not find itself in the conversation in any agency or unit other than the most specialized who allow you to run absolutely whatever you want. At which point, money isn't actually an object. The Staccato can be sold to police admins and unit leadership on its own merits. The civilian consumer can always find a way to spend that money on something that might fit the bill better. But the specific things they did to this gun were to make it more palatable to the decision makers in LE/MIL firearms programs. It's a way to get something besides Glock into the hands of professionals. As much as people don't like it, this really only needs to be compared against Glock, Walther PDP and M&P 2.0 because those are the only guns really in the conversation where this is being targeted for sales.

The thing that peaks my interest in the new Staccato is that it’s a drop safe 2011. I don’t know if the same is true of the Fusion XP or not. That’s not all that important to everyone but for those who would want to carry this type of platform for work purposes, it’s a necessary consideration.
