FUSION (presented by the NTU Choir Alumni)

'Fusion' is composed by Don Macdonald, a multifaceted musician known for his works in various musical genres, as an attempt at exploring choral writing without using poetry. This SATB arrangement showcases the ‘fusion’ of a rhythm he heard being played on a taiko drum, short motifs and contemporary harmonies, coming together to create a layered, well-rounded piece fusing these different musical styles together.
