But ultimately it's healthier to fix your issues rather than ignoring them and as for irrational thoughts it's better to do self-reflection and work through your thought process ("why do I think that ?", "are the consequences of x as important as they seem?", "is this the only plausible outcome?", etc...) to "admit" they are irrational thoughts.

@@twentyonetortas5921 learn to become friends with it. The more you ignore the louder it gets, so why not try greeting it? Seriously, I know it sounds weird but this does help. You’ll understand once you do this regularly, but meditation is something that help see thoughts as thought. Because that’s just what they are, thoughts. Thoughts come and go and if you let the brain naturally flow through them you’ll learn to grasp better control of your mind. Closing your eyes and sitting still is one of the best things someone can do. And a little a day is a good way to start. We know a lot about the external but very few people know about the internal and their own mind. I hope this helps. And if it doesn’t I hope some day you’ll find peace
