I am an Inter Miami supporter in the UK, I became a supporter of the Club as soon as David Beckham launched it, and I subscribe to MLS Season Pass on Apple TV+ to watch every match. I am sure that the 2026 Option in Messi's contract will be taken up, because of the FIFA World Cup taking place in the USA in the summer of that year, with Argentina being based in Miami for the Tournament, so Messi will captain Inter Miami at the new stadium for the beginning of the 2026 MLS season, for sure. In the first half of the season, before the break for the World Cup, Miami will be trying to win CONCACAF Champions Cup, playing that entire Tournament in their new palace of a stadium.

Why would they want to complete and christen a football stadium almost at the end of the MLS season? It would not make sense and it will be a chaos to transfer fans from one stadium to another. This will be christened for MLS 2026, the same year for the World Cup

Is Called Dynamic Compaction Is done mainly on land fills in order to compact the soil at deep depth The other crane is used for drilling soil samples This Stadium should have been going up by now It appears the DDC is a by product of the Engineers trying to find a feasible solution for the structure of the stadium It appears that soil is not very good at certain depth in that area but that technique has proven to be very effective in other similar sites

No way in hell they will have this stadium by Sept 2025. They will get one more full year of Ft. Lauderdale Chase Stadium before they christen the new stadium in World Cup year 2026.

Their probably taking seismic readings to measure suitability of ground prep they’ve done. I don’t think they’ll have that full complex as envisioned finished in 16 months which is what is left if they want to inaugurate it by Sept 2025. All the govt entities involved in that project are going to drag it out.

The machines are compacting the ground and taking ground examples to see if the ground is secure for a tall building but you got to take into consideration all the agencies which take a part or take their sweet time to give their approval to being building in the site more knowing there was a golf course before they want to check for chemicals in the soil

It all depends on Copa America 2024 results, if Argentina wins, he will be happy to play a little more and make sure Argentina will qualify for WC2026, which it should happen even without Messi, since Conmebol get 6 direct slots now.

@@marimdq and your point is? I wrote this 3 months ago regarding if Messi will keep playing or not, his contract will end next year, before the Stadium is complete. He will renew it for another year if he feel good enough to play for WC2026, if he doesn't feel at this 100%, then I don't think he will renew (extend) his contract. WC Qualification will happen (with and without Messi), he still happy he wont CA2024 and there is a high chance he may want to win another WC, but all we can do is wait for his final decision, which is too early to now at this moment.

Nobody could ever imagine Inter Miami winning that much without Leo, and there it goes! We are all wishing the Supporters shield, and It might happen.
