People call Bender's infinite uses a plot hole. I say... If you created a Sentient Robot the first thing you'd do is make thousands of compatible attachments so they have a reason to go to work and earn money... and not, you know... Get bored and wipe out humanity.

It is established that robots are not exactly sentient. They are completely deterministic, preprogrammed. No free will exists, no responsibility is assumed. The only deviation from preprogrammed behaviour is only facilitated by external unexpected influence. For bender it happened in E1S1.
