Seeing as less than 200 copies were ever sold and back in 2010 it was strongly believed there may only be 12 copies of the game left in existence. Good fucking luck trying to play it or do a deep dive when the game is basically well does not exist. Unless someone remasters it onto a new system hopefully computer the game is lost media. The game has been declared lost media sense 2005 when it was already forgotten about and if a copy went up for sale the prices were bat shit insane back then. Hell in 2007 I saw 1 copy for sale and it was $200 for just the disk without case or book and the disk had scratches on it. I thought the Game Stop was insane for charging that and the guy literally pulled up a full listing on world wide sales of the game from all types of stores that sold games and it showed a max of 0 used copies of the game ever sold and that was in 2007 and 0 new copies sold outside of the fucking limited sales of it from a single direct to sale skipping stores from a single god dam catalog sale that the only way to buy the game was to order the game from a postcard sale with physical cash mail in purpose for the item. Basically to get the game in only way to have bought the game was to buy an exact VHS copy of a few episodes and send the post card back in an envelope with cash back when companies took cash threw the mail to make purchases and with your return address written down and name and they would send you the game. The game is so fucking insanely rare that to just say its rare is kind of a lie because its rarer than insanely rare. Back in mid 2007 no stores had in their data base of a single fucking sale of the dam thing. The game was never sold in stores except for the extreme fucking insane rare times of someone trading it to a store. Yea chances of someone doing a full playthrough of it and for others to enjoy the game as well are dam near 0. Its just fuck no you are not going to play the game. You just are not going to play it unless if someone has an original copy and wishes to remaster the game and gets permission to rerelease the game but unless that happens the game is dead and a lost media.

The PAL copy is nowhere near as rare. In the UK, I see it in 2nd hand stores all the time.

I played this game multiple multiple times and didn't know most of these secrets (with the Scruffy exception) But I failed to find one specific Nibbler and it was the one where Fry is in the sewers. Every nibbler after that i found first time This is a really cool video Thank you friend 👍

Been playing this on an emulator recently, and think i've found possibly something else leading to an easter egg. In the red light district level, the building you go inside that leads to the dev head room, has 3 windows on the outside with outlines in that have a shoot icon when you aim over them, and they go neutral when you shoot them. though one of them you have to shoot twice, I haven't managed to activate anything yet and think maybe they need to be shot in a certain order - the middle one sometimes can be shot 3 times in a row depending what you shot before it, seems strange

I'm a developer, and my guess is that someone implemented the owls with the intention of creating an Easter egg or secret area. They put them around and made sure that they did a thing when you hit all 7 (possibly open the front door). Then they moved the last two way high up so the unfinished secret wouldn't be accessible and said, "I'll come back to this when I have time." Then they ran out of time. If we could reverse engineer the source code or somehow obtain a dump, it'd be easy to see what code is being executed whenever you hit an owl, and that would answer it for us.

It's still a possibility but the follow-up video I made to this actually explains that the green flashes might actually be misunderstood. There are other sentient creatures and characters in the game that flash green when hit, implying they are invulnerable to attack (the enemies flash red). I think the owl theory is as good as debunked but you never know.

npc's that you cant damage turn green for a second its not only the owls. theres a robot chef cutting up slugs in one of frys levels and if you shoot him he does the same thing
