"Most people don't know sh*t about boxing...." This kid is amazing!
@gbrllira110 жыл бұрын
why are people so negative? this kid is 5 years old and has already developed the discipline to train and improve as a boxer. most kids at 5 years old are playing video games and sitting in front of a TV. i give props to this father taking the time to spend time with his child and teach him something that i guarantee his son will remember for the rest of his life. and just because there arent any videos of him reading with his son doesnt mean he isnt and that hes a bad role model, as some people have been saying in the comments. props to the father and son
@testdrive66410 жыл бұрын
I am sure his father is forcing him to train. Nothing wrong with disciplining your child. Most champions were shaped in this way. However make no mistake the child is not doing this on his own will. The child would rather play with his friends.
@Deevy8_10 жыл бұрын
when I was five my mom was still whipping my ass…no shame
@tazx799110 жыл бұрын
test drive How do you know it's not on his own will? Maybe hes really passionate about boxing. Just like some young kids are really passionate about playing instruments. You can find countless kids under the age of 11 that LOVE to play the piano, drums, guitar, why does boxing or a sport for that matter have to be any different? As far as we know he does get to play with his friends. Lets say he sleeps for 9 hours a day. that gives him 15 hours that he is awake. 1-2 hours of training isn't that much time of his day, IF they even spend 2 hours training.
@NavinLuke10 жыл бұрын
test drive Seriously the way he looks so into it and the skill he has I doubt his father is making him do anything. I don't think I've ever seen a 5 year old so focused on something as this kid looks, and that focus comes from him, not his dad.
@lakititi200510 жыл бұрын
The dad will use his child's celebrity to accumulate cash which he will just use up on alcohol, drugs and women. This is common with these types of people.

boxing isn't something you should wish on your child. brain damage, training injuries, extremely low pay until you make it up the ranks, you have to fight other trained killers for money. it's good the dad is spending time with his kid, and giving a skill set that can be used for self-defense. boxing is a terrible career choice. 99.999% will fail to earn and suffer.

The hardest part of boxing is your balance. When you throw those punches you want to maintain your balance otherwise you waste time & energy leaning your body back into position. Putting a foot forward like he's doing helps greatly & puts you closer to your opponent.

Of course more negative comments. SMH. "Can he read?", If this was a dad showing his pride and joy how to ride a bike would anyone say..."Can he read?" No! What am I thinking, a present father showing his son the ropes...(no pun intended) a form of martial arts that is discipline that many can't master, that builds confidence, self reliance, and an healthy mind&body. Grow up KZbin.

Its great to see that you are planting the seed on this little guy, teaching him discipline, self defense, humility and planting a future for the little guy. What most don't realize is that, even if this kid doesn't go pro or anything, he already has a job on the line for a future teaching boxing (maybe even at a really young age) at a gym or even opening one as anyone with a high level or degree in martial arts, its an investment with a lot of benefits. Congrats to their parents who are making an effort and this great investment. I have no complaints about my parents, but now, at my age, I would've love them to force me into practicing and perfecting at a sport or art that I liked. I would really thank them. So congrats to the kid and parents! Keep the good work up!

You can tell by the loud THWAK sound when he connects with the mitts that he's hitting with speed and power. My only concern is that he's so young he will have had a lot of gym wars by he time he's old enough to fight pro and that will possibly affect his ability to take a punch at a younger age than most. From what I've been reading you can only get your bell rung so many times and it gets easier to get knocked out each time once it has happened. He better dvelop a highly defense oriente style like Mayweather if he wats to go far.
@EdisonChar10 жыл бұрын
You know that he can just only train until he's 20 and then get in the real ring. He'll be way better than anyone by that time.

@jamesjeffh10 жыл бұрын
Edison Char You cant just "train" in boxing. Anybody can throw punches at air but unless you know what it's like to have some coming back at you you're just pretending. How can he know how somebody moves when hes never been in with anybody ? You cant slip a jab if ones never came at you with anger. Pain is the best defense instructor.
@jamesjeffh10 жыл бұрын
Edison Char Your saying that somebody can just "train" till they are 20 and THEN get in the ring and will somehow be better than anyone but yet Im retarded ? Im sorry if I have to dumb this down as much as possible but oh well. Just because somebody can hit mits DOES NOT mean they can hit PEOPLE. People hit back, people move people time your punches and some people actually laugh at you when you hit them with everything but the kitchen sink. Hitting the mits works on timing and that's it. Im sorry your not a fighter otherwise youd know this because its pretty much common knowledge. Yes the kid has good timing and quick hands but that in and of itself doesn't mean he can box. Training as in mits, shadowboxing, bagwork and so on is the lecture sparring and REAL BOXING is the lab work. How will he know if he can take a punch ? Or how can work on his inside game or know what its like to be up against the ropes ? He cant genius because until hes been through it that might as well be a video game to him and if you've ever stepped inside the ring youd know that and not think that hitting mits that your dad is holding and not even bothering to take a real swing at you will magically make you the next Sugar Ray Robinson.
