Chinese EVs have world-class reliability already. They've spent the last 10 years focused on quality. Don't mistake these cars for Dollar store or Walmart merchandise.

The Nissan GTR EV (5:55) looks amazing and sounds even better if they call pull up the solid state battery. Hopefully that will be the future for all EVs. Range will be double and even triple from current batteries, they will charge in just minutes (or at least will be able to add 300 to 400 miles in just around 5 minutes) and will not have issues with extreme cold and heat. What I do not care is about any Chinese brand. Most of those brands are just start-up corporations, they might go broke in no time, and most of the products from those companies are just garbage or simply disposable items. And even if they are good, I cannot picture most people buying something like the dancing car from BYD (9:30), that thing will break in no time. As for most of the concept vehicles, as always, they are just concept, and when the time comes to mass produce them (if they make it to mass production) they look completely different, are missing half the stuff they "promised" it would have, and ends up being a regular vehicle. No thanks.

@@jason-jo2jw I’m not American, don’t live in America. I don’t like EV cars as a whole, regardless of where they are made. I have seen a video made by a South African guy who lives in China and there were quite a few Chinese EV’s that caught fire, also the BYD brand of China, he stated there was no real checks on this industry and that’s why there are so many little factories which have sprung up there who make cheap cars, motorscooters etc so it’s risky buying something there, those lithium batteries are unsafe. The video showed a car parked near a shop and the car caught fire and it jumped to the shop and went up to the first floor, also a vespa like scooter parked inside a building on the groundfloor which started to catch fire. This happens with cheaply made products. I like my fossil fuelled car, happy with what i have.
