When group members performed together, outside the Disney parks (As in the above gig), they used the name Encorps. In 1991 they traveled to James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA., and laid down their first and only CD, "The Future of Corps." I saw them at the Daytona Beach or Melbourne FL shows (or both) that summer. They were promoting their cd.

I'm pretty sure that's me saying "YEAH!!! WOO HOO!!!!" at the end of this video. Correct me if I'm wrong but if this is at the DCI Class A60 finals in Whitewater, it's me. I also marched '88 Scouts so it was a treat to hear Future Corps cover this classic.

Hey David, this was a performance after a HS marching band festival in Orlando. We did a half day in the park and finished our shift doing this performance, I still have the original VHS of all the shows that day (in the park and at the HS show) if it has managed to survive 33+ years. I don't even have a functioning VHS player, LOL.

As good if not better than Madison '88. Ridiculously good! Disney screwed up. You folks need to get back together and make a CD under a different name Sick, sick, SICK! Do Malaguena, Spanish Fantasy, and the Bill Chase Medley at least. I'm sure you could pull off Strawberry Soup, Heat of the Day, and Firebird as well. MacArthur Park would be cool, and Can't Get Started a la Doc Severinsen. Advertise on DCP and on DCI or your favorite corps sites. Come on....do it:)

This is actually closer to the 1981 version (heck, the sop duet's REALLY close). A nice rendition, but there were some REAL sudden tempo changes that threw me off. VERY well performed, but, imo, not their best work. Agree that Disney made a mistake by cutting them, tho.
