From when The X Files was very much in vogue, and Gillian Anderson hosted a "A series of documentaries examining the links between science fiction and science fact". This edition takes a look at "the fantastic future in store for the human body, as scientists at an American university are currently working on what may be the first step towards "bionic" humans".
Followed by the first few minutes of "The Olympic Game", hosted by Steve Rider.

Thanks for this, nice to see an original broadcast recording of Future Fantastic instead of some crappy BBC Horizons channel repeat with the annoying channel logo, very few uploads of this series seem to be from the original BBC broadcast for some strange reason. I taped a few eps but not everyone and many are not in the best of condition.

The late 90s seem to be a boom period on TV for anything Paranormal/Unexplained and UFO related, and it happened at the right time for me in my late teens has it got me hooked on these subjects; after that I began buying books on the subjects (pre internet days) and bought a fortnightly magazine called The X Factor published by Marshall Cavendish, which I still have every edition of. Strange though that I do not remember the series Out of this World, how I missed that one I don't know.

There was so much paranoemal crap on tv back then. Obviously it was 'entertainment', but to us it was convincingly believable.
