Best I've found on planet Earth, on a budget 1 can sweetened condensed milk 2 bags chocolate chips of choice ( I like using one bag of semi sweet and one mint chocolate) Cocoa powder Melt together SCM and chocolate chips stirring until fully mixed Put in a fridge safe container and cool Take a spoonful and roll into a ball Then roll in cocoa powder Can also use other coatings, though I find the cocoa powder makes it richer Or just cut it into pieces like a fudge 😅

Orville was made specifically because Star Trek went in another (arguably worse) direction, and Seth McFarlane wanted to create a "spoof" but also love letter to TNG era Trek and the fans like him that enjoyed it. I'm glad it got its three seasons. Was a rough start finding it's balance between comedy and seriousness but they did find it, and then the show was awesome.

No, because they are under regular pressure on the planet they are made. But this is on a ship under artificial gravity at the strength of Earth's. It's density and taste is normal to the Xelayans and their planet, but it's taste is made better under weaker gravities.

@@hopelesslydull7588 yes, they id specify this in the show, it was in a previous episode and that's why the last Xelayan girl ended up leaving the Orville ship. She became weaker due to prolonged exposure to Earth gravity that's simulated on the ship. Density also doesn't work that way. The way we are looking at this is from an Earth perspective of space. Evolution and physics would make the stuff more dense in Earth gravity, which is why the Xelayan girl is not surprised by her crewmates reactions. Density works that way with gases and liquids but not solids. This is due to compression and binding energy. The binding energy of the ingredients in the chocolate would be high enough for gravity to not pull them apart and reduce it's density. Another thing to take into account is that we're in space, dealing with other planets and their elements. This throws out the rulebook on physics, chemistry and most other sciences.

It's salayan chocolate, that planet has a much HIGHER gravity on it which means the chocolate would be heavier and more dense. The density would not change, a ball of iron has the same density on earth as it has on the moon, it may feel lighter due to gravity being less on the moon but the density (how tight the molecules are packed) would not change.

If it's 13.1 light years away, their sensors are picking up signals that are 13.1 years old. They have no idea what's going on on that planet right now. They need to approach the planet in short jumps and update their readings as they go. Also, at that distance, there'd be no way to detect signals from a single planet in the system. Even with amazing future technology. This is basic geometry. At that distance, the star and all the planets occupy the same spot in the sky. You could possibly get signals from the whole planetary system, but you couldn't resolve them to a single planet.
