I started running last summer, hadn’t ran for fun in twenty years, and it’s been a feeling of peace and freedom for me after overcoming alcohol addiction. Anyhow, I had just found out about these guys and put this on my running playlist and I thought their fans might be surprised that this is a great tune to zone out to while running along with some of their other songs. Glad I found them even if I was late to the party, they are inspiring

Similar story to you, except I discovered cycling. Eventually I was diagnosed with ADHD and learned that it's very common for people with ADHD to get into things like cycling and running because they experience this feeling of calm that is literally impossible to get otherwise. Obviously, merely liking running or cycling alone is not enough to diagnose anybody with ADHD or anything else, but since you mention that you used to have an alcohol addiction, that is another thing that lines up. When you were in school did you leave your work until the last minute? Have you ever struggled getting started on tasks you know are important, or had trouble finishing tasks after doing 80 or 90% of the work? Something to think about

I watched this video in my shitty apartment on my 21st birthday in texas, surrounded by piles of moving boxes. I was alone, drinking a sad 12 pack that I was now old enough to buy, thinking about the upcoming move to Boston. After a very long drive (about 36 hours ), when i arrived in boston, I remember driving around one night and discovering Revere beach, sinking my toes in the sand, and re-listening to/watching this. It was magical. Boston is a fucking gorgeous place and will always have my heart.

my dude, having loved is 1000 years of amazingness and fullfillness.... feeling heartbreak... thats the best part, because it redefines what you have felt, and it makes you really value how you felt during that time you fell in love...it all happens in cycles sadly... until you truly meet that special someone... after that there isnt escape. only end. And its only then that youll feel 1,000,000 years of amazing-ness and full-fillness....
