I’ve followed this band for years and there isn’t a song they’ve created that hasn’t made me feel some kind of emotion. I’ve listened to them million times and every single time it brings out an uncontrollable feeling. I’ve danced, I’ve cried, I’ve sang and screamed at the top of my lungs having the absolute best time. It’s incredible to me how they have the ability to do this. I could possibly be in fan girl mode, I don’t care, but Future Islands is more than just a band that makes music. They give life to a day you don’t think you can get over and make memories you’ll never forget. There is no way to express how much this band means to me. Whatever direction they go, I’ll follow. They’ve never given me a reason to stop.
