Amazing for so many reasons . The drummer is cool and in the moment .. the keyboardist has head down and concentrates to create that quirky wavering synthesiser sound .. the bass player reminds me of random dudes in holland in 89..with a 70 s haircut ... and the front man is just brilliantly insane ... I can honestly say I've never seen anything like his moves ..total and utter loonacy that only John Cleese could rival. brilliant .. just brilliant ..it made my new years eve

so I'm at home watching MTV, ok the normal MTV crap was playing, until Jools Holland put Future Islands on there, I kept watching, but then something happened,...Herring Started to dance, it was weird at first, but then I kept watching, He started to sing, and that was it, I know that I was watching something really special. I compare this with the first time I saw Bono from u2, this is HUGE! This band is the Mother load! I'm in baby, all the way I hope they come California so I can go see them. I'm in! count me in
