Those lyrics hit hard. Wonder how long it will take for us to heal from the insanity we had to endure the last several years. If you're reading this, hug your loved ones. Be kind to each other and to yourself. We need all the love we can get right now.

Best track from the new album for me

It has been my dream to see Future Islands, and they are coming to Portland, Oregon in September, and ticket prices are more than I can afford. I'm beyond bummed. Someday. This album couldn't have come at a better time for me. My 3 1/2 year relationship ended 2 months ago and my heart is shattered. This song especially struck a cord

This whole album is beautiful, I feel like it’s been forever since we started waiting for this release but in return each song sounds truly sincere and I feel like it speaks direct to my soul. Thank you sincerely.

The lyrics to this are so tender and render a deep pain only the loss of a loved one can emote so perfectly and potently powerful. It is a beautiful love note goodbye. 😍

These guys are awsome!! Great music they give us in the last years!!🖤🖤🖤

Saw these guys today on Sunday Brunch, UK. Never heard of them until now! The mix on the live studio performance was a bit rubbish, vocals too quiet. But looking up online the love for this band is insane. This song is clearly a narrative of our time. I shall enjoy exploring the discography some more. Peace. x

@@elliotkivi1682 there was something in the performance and music that piqued my interest. I have a broad and eclectic musical taste, glad I persevered. :)

@@elliotkivi1682 so far the actually words, really hit their mark, I like the simple delivery of a closed caption :) The latest video was brilliant, it's not "hey look at us" and instead a genuinely original piece of art. I think this will be a long term relationship. Finding new music organically is a joy. I was playing battlefield a long while ago on xbox, a guy in my squad had music playing in the background when he spoke, so I asked what it was - Ratatat....I listen to them often now. Was a cool introduction.

Yeah they film the Sunday Brunch performances first thing then play then at the end of the show so I fear they may not have been given ample time to warm up. I might be wrong but I think this song is about his recent breakup in covid

Maravillosa canción, las letras son poesía pura y las notas que las acompañan me dejan sin palabra. Espero poder oír esta belleza este 19 de marzo en Perú.
