Certain players regress all of a sudden because of the peak end setting not because of the actual regression sliders. 2k already has the problem that everyone gets better and better and never gets worse until they are close to retirement. Leading to 80+ overalls sitting in free agency and retiring. Contracts consistently going up adds to that issue as well. I put regression on 66 and it's still broken. Lowering regression I think would only make this issue worse. But if it's a short rebuild or you just don't think that it will effect the videos I don't guess it matters really. Just wanted to say this just in case you didn't understand already. Idk how much time youtubers spend learning how all of these settings work outside of their videos. It's almost embarrassing the amount of time I've put into fixing 2k settings. The damn tendencies man, so broken.

Let me preface this by saying I really enjoy these long rebuilds and I appreciate how long they take etc. These are just a couple suggestions. it’d be nice to see him make more trades, and especially in the later years use his MLE for the bottom of the bench. Like he had a 73ovr (think he got to like 75) or something as the last guy in his rotation the last two seasons I believe. No reason for that. You can get like an 80 ovr with MLE easily that deep in to it with how the progression is, and how OP the draft classes are. Then with regression lowered the older guys are sticking around longer too. So the average overall skyrockets. Should be probably making more consolidation trades, packaging guys you don’t plan to re-sign to make upgrades and get guys on longer deals. It gets a little monotonous sometimes especially because it seems like a lot of these end up fairly similar. I totally understand wanting to build through youth, and I’d never suggest trading away the CORE young guy like Jalen Green etc. But a couple more trades would indeed be nice. It doesn’t have to basically all be through youth and progression. Feel like you could win a couple more chips in these than you usually do and still keep it realistic, at least realistic in 2K terms lol. ✌️ and keep killing it SROS. Always enjoy the content, just wanted to throw you a couple suggestions as a long time sub who watches pretty much every video.

the problem with rebuilds is that your main problem going forward is money.. not the players that get worse or are not performing to par 2k sim is making everybody 80 overalls even if they just get bench minutes this would be a much better sim if like in real life only a handful become good players and a lot of players become bench warmers
