Guys, On FMCG 1. Small companies can’t beat Big companies as these are cash rich and can easily buy small companies. 2. No small company can establish a distribution and marketing network like a big company in even a decade. 3. Imagine you buying a chocolate bar or a soap at a supermarket, which one will you buy, that has the answer. 4. Yes FMCG companies are expensive but they can’t command the current PE with the current growth.

Caveat: that the SGBs brought from secondary market do not qualify for capital gain exemption. Caveat 2 The selling price of digi gold is less by ₹ 300 from that of buying price. The gain accrued when bought in dips is more eroded by the spread. Plus v hv to incur 3% gst. So it is inane. These vital points missed out by your analysis

For point 1- SGB bought in the secondary market and held till the maturity period will get the tax benefit. But if SGB is sold on the secondary market before maturity, you will have to pay the proper long term capital gains tax. For digital gold, it is not ideal for short term traders trying to catch dips. Best for investors with a horizon of 5+ years, where these charges will be lower than Gold BeEs expense ratio.
