You should interview nobody and how about stop exploiting black art and distorting it's context. Hip-hop and trap is 100% a creation from the legacy of foundational black American musical etymological lineage. Any imitation of my culture should be discarded. This music traces back to our suffering in the united states due to slavery and Jim crow laws. It's a disgrace that other cultures pass it around like a commodity

He says that people don’t have the patience most of the time but he got to where he is in 3 years, I’m pretty sure there are guys doing it 10 years with the same intensity and consistency still struggling so it’s not always the patience bro. But yeah without it your doomed anyways.

It’s also quality. producers need to be self aware about this. it’s not a coincidence that all the successful producers make good beats (ignoring the content creator producers) i mean the ones who get placements the ones with successful type beat channels and beat stores. if your beats aren’t good you will get absolutely nowhere and that’s the problem for 99% of these producers who say they can’t make a sale. i have made 95$ from two beats i posted on beatstars didn’t promote didn’t do anything not even on my youtube currently. the fact that some people can’t even make 1 sale and think that it’s impossible means they do not make good enough music. compare yourself to people who are better and keep striving and learning until you say “okay i prefer my beat to this kanye beat, or to this metroboomin beat” they say comparison is the death of happiness but you need to be honest with yourself if you want to be truly successful in this industry. if you keep it up eventually you will compare and feel better

yea of course there are other factors at play, but the people who don't have patience are doomed as you said 😂

@@prodkxvi just out of curiosity, have you ever heard or got contacted from someone doing it a very long time like 5-10 years with very good strategy and good sound and also consistency who hasn’t “made it” (like at least being able to live off of it) ?

Are you a foundational black American? If not, then you are culture jacking and the music you make is not authentic

Dropping gems as usual. Seems like the REALISTIC way to get placements is to be a loopmaker/sound designer and musician (piano, guitarist). If your a person that only does drums, then your best bet is to focus on your KZbin channel and hope one of your beats go viral that some rappers would rap on it.
